Avoiding Naira Lost | The Of Things Now

The way things are really going on now, only God know how nigerian citizens will be feeling in couple of month. Everything have now really skyrocket and having a whole 3 square meals is now very hard, I and my guys had to argue a lot tonight because of it. Back in the days, an average can still make an average meal of just 2000 naira which is now 1.4$ now it is is no more possible. I had to thanks my for making some decisions after a lot of thought and calculations when I made up to start my saving plans last year december, I had a lot of things to do with money this year and I was somehow thinking of using the double saving method, saving some in dollar through the hbd method so as to also have a taste of the 20% apr and I was somehow considering using one of my naira bank app which happen to have a saving plans to with also 18 - 20% interest rate, I thought it was a good decision at first until I look more into it and found out something which change my mind.

Apart from the rate at which naira is falling hard against dollar, I notice once someone decided to save with the hope of getting up to given interest rate within a saving period, they will be deducting up to 10% tax fee from what you will be getting at the end of the day irrespective of what you save. This is actually not healthy and there is no way the naira won't dump the more. I had to exit the naira saving thought and went all in the dollar savings. Now naira is 1415 against 1$ the last time I check which means I would have been at almost 50% loss if I had save in naira, that is really much and I would have been crying by now. Right now, we don't even know if there is still hope for naira, before next week it might be hitting 2000 naira /1$ which means more hardship and hike in goods/services price

The heat is everywhere, I remember when I started my crypto journey years ago, the naira value was around 200-250 then, things weren't that hard since price of goods weren't that high, now we all are having that silent cry with the hope spirit that things should really change. Currently having just 670$ can make you a millionaire, dreams come true for many. The best way now is to find a side hustle job that can really pay in dollars which you can use in paying your bills for now, there are lot of ways to earn few bucks even if it is little, you just have to research and find a good one to sustain on till the hope we actually which for come around. I hope those that still earn salaries will still learn to keep managing it for now
