The land is a factor of production which we have learnt over the years. We use land for production. This also goes that the land is one of the factors that affect the way the economy is driven. The economic growth of the nation, even considering it integrally down to that of the individual, depends largely on the land.

The way we use the land is very vital in our economic and environmental development. We should make use of the land in the right way. We should avoid the abuse of the land. Land degradation must be avoided with all determined force in us. The land should and must be used in the right way to encourage development.

Carrying out proper farming activities on the land can be a very good use of the land. I observe that the primary assignment of the land is to sustain the life of plants. And the plants are our primary sources of our food. The plants are the primary food producers. This leads to the conclusion that the land is the factor that enhances the availability of food. Therefore, engaging in farming activities would certainly be a rightful and productive use of the land.

A wrong use of the land is dumping of refuse incessantly. We should practice the right waste management principles. Dumping refuse carelessly not only deface our community, it also causes damages to the land. It is okay for decomposables but for synthetic materials which don't decompose, they should be recycled.
