Sam is now in a higher institution studying to become a medical worker. It is a joyful thing to witness how the life of little Sam has transformed into a promising young man with great prospects. When I remember the days when a dark cloud attempted to cover Sam, I remain grateful to God for making the sun shine again in the path of Sam.

It was an awful day when we woke up that fateful day to receive the news that Sam had lost his father. Sam was about 10 years old then. The mother was only a petty trader who hardly raised enough income to feed the family. The hope of Sam getting through college and having a decent life became blurred. The dark cloud had covered him.

The story of Sam making it through Secondary School and finally graduating as a medical worker is one that proves that no matter the thickness of the dark cloud or how dark the cloud could be, the sun can still rise again.

Auntie Ade came up then and adopted Sam into her family. She sponsored him to Secondary School and subsequently to medical school. Now, my friend Sam is on the radder to greatness.

Life has several lessons to offer. One that I have learnt from Sam's story is that of hope. There is hope that though the feature looks blurred with a dark cloud of hopelessness, the ray of hope shall beam again.
