Gully Erosion, @phortun contest Round 208

Nature is just nature. It does its own thing and takes its own path regardless who is hurt or not. No one could actually control nature. If we do, we won't call that natural phenomenon. Most times, we have to set ourselves and our properties out of its way. We should always try to be on the safe, enjoyable side of nature.

Some natural resources or phenomena are useful and blissful to man. Imagine you having fun sitting at a serene beach. You will enjoy the cold breeze. But what if you are at the house when a dangerous thunderstorm sets the building ablaze. That wouldn't be fun, right?

My image is that of a gully erosion. This area is sloppy and rain from the community flows down there. The heavy torrent rushes violently in the rainy season. This washes away the soil in this area and creates this gully erosion. This area is virtually useless for building structures. But on the contrary, the local dwellers hunt for those animals that inhabit such places like this. The water bed offers a good fertile land for farming rice. Rice is one of our staple foods on this side of the world. Frogs which we consume locally for protein are also hunt in this area.
