Winners of Leo Glossary Puzzle Game - 001

A week ago, I thought of an educational game on Hive and all that came to mind was The #hivepuzzle game. Just the simple crossword puzzle you know. Before the thought came, I had engaged @Taskmaster4450le on a query on how Hive users can maximize #leoglossary words in their posts. We know how much Leoglossary has contributed to the SEO of the Leofinance website and a lot of work has been put into the silent but powerful project.

LeoGlossary is designed to serve is a resource center that focuses upon areas of investing, finance, and cryptocurrency. That definition was more fitting when LeoFInance This is a database was centered on finance and crypto contents. Now that Leofinance is open to all communities and content niches, Leo glossary is on its way to becoming a web3 dictionary. Leo glossary is thus a database full of terms that will aid people in their learning about just anything. Already, the basic vocabulary of nearly all Hive projects have been indexed on Leo glossary. There is room for more word discovery and addition.

I saw #hivepuzzle as a game that can spur some level of engagement among Hive users and create fun while users get acquainted with words and learn on the Hive blockchain. yeah! it is basically a learn to earn game. All that is required is to unscramble words in the puzzle through a Leoglossary link hint and you earn $LEO for that. My choice for $LEO is that LEO is becoming an all-content token with Threads in place. Again read my first thoughts on Hive Puzzle.

The Hivepuzzle game would be based on Thread and it is geared towards encouragement of engagement in threads which is for the good of all Hive users.

Leo Glossary Puzzle Game #001

The maiden edition of the Hive puzzle game was a kind of a check on how successful such adventure could be. It was really successful. It received Six engagements within the first 24 hours of its submission.

Here was the instructions for Participation:

• Go to this threadstorm,
• Rethread for more visibility (future)
• Screenshot the puzzle on the first thread,
  click on the Leoglossary word group link on the second thread to find any of the five words needed (There would be 8 words available to be unscrambled)
• Mark out the words in your screenshot puzzle.
• Share your marked screenshot puzzle as a reply to the first thread.
  Use the #hivepuzzle tag for more exposure.

For this edition, we used the LeoFinance Leoglossary page. That is, words captured in the puzzle were only drawn from the page. Here are the words and how they appeared in the puzzle:

The contest reward as stated in the contest prompt was 20 $LEO to be shared equally to the first 4 users that got 5 answers right and a 100% upvote of all entries with my 17k Leo Power. Being the first edition, I decided to do bonus for all entries (6). All the users have received 5 LEO tokens each for participating and following the rules. Rewards were sent from the @hivepuzzle account I created to run the game. Thank you @utymarvel @johnuko @iskawrites26 @etorobong @inibless @pepetoken for participating.

Meanwhile, I will be posting the contest prompts and answers from my account for ease of publicity as I start building awareness for @hivepuzzle. It's going to be a long term thing and would involve all Hive dapps and projects. @hivepuzzle will be set as beneficiary of 95% of rewards from related posts from my account. The liquid HBD and LEO rewards generated would be used for the rewards pool.

EDIT: Post cannot post when new beneficiary is added. Will transfer manually at payout.

This first contest generated $0.86 HBD (2.418 HIVE), 6.9395 LEO on post and 2.6005 LEO on threads. A Total of 23.54 LEO has been accumulated ahead of the next edition that comes up tomorrow. The rewards would be bigger.

Puzzle Out on LeoThreads Every Friday

To help stem engagement at an optimum level, this contest prompt would be out every Friday and entries would be received until Monday 23:59 GMT. Let's run it weekly and see how the respond goes.
