Onboarding of Corporate Institutions would drive mass adoption to Web3

Although some forward-thinking corporations and institutions are actively exploring and onboarding he web3 world to leverage its unending benefits, there are tons of institutions out there that are indecisive about onboarding web3 due to lack of understanding, fear of network effects and fear of losing out of competition which may affect their revenue at first. However, we cannot undermine the potential of having coroprate organizations and institutions of high reputation onboard our blockchain. A mere featuring of their Hive blockchain or INLEO usernames and links on their web2 platforms could help being thousands of users here in no time.

I'm bullish on the onboarding of corporate institutions to web3 and the potential it holds towards crypto and blockchain mass adoption. Truth remains that Hive is lacking in these areas. However, this is worth pushing and implementing for the boost of the Hive economy.

The Concept of "Legacy Premium Subscription"

My concept of Legacy Premium Subscription is a borrowed idea of X's (Twiter) Legacy verification which verifies some influential and crowd gathering accounts including but not limited to:

  • Government Office Accounts
  • Individuals in Government
  • Candidates for Office
  • News organizations
  • Individuals in news
  • Freelance Journalists
  • Organizations
  • Prominent organizations including companies, brands, non-profit organizations.
  • Leaders & Executives
  • Leaders and other prominent executives of Verified companies
  • Entertainment or Production Company
  • Major entertainment companies, such as film studios, TV networks, and music entities
  • Individual in entertainment
  • Professional sport organizations, teams & leagues
  • Individuals in gaming

With the success of Leo premium having recorded over 60 subscribers in the first 48 hours, there is the possibility of hitting 500 subscribers by end of November 2023 and even 1k subscribers by the end of the year. This is a sure path to sustainability and securing the premium badge comes with lots of benefits for the user as well as the bettering of the $LEO and $HIVE economy.

As the premium subscription continues to gain popularity, it is important that the Leo Team look at a Legacy Premium Subscription option or a close alternative that would be targeted at onboarding corporate institutions and organizations and influencers to Hive via INLEO. Doubling the Hive userbase is the goal by December 2024 but with institutional onboarding, we can get 5x of the anticipated results.

Let's consider Nigeria as an example, the successful onboarding of a popular Music label or a popular football club could catalyse the onboarding of the teaming fans of the artists signed by the label as well as sports fans. There are growing professional institutions with good followership due to their impact to the society and or drive in activism. We need such organizations to have a front on Hive blockchain.

Onboarding institutions to INLEO is a focus for me as a user and I wish they could have the incentive of a Legacy Premium Subscription service wven if i comes with a cost. The need for this special subscription service is to help market the brand or organization here on Hive to trend their contents for easy visibility. For the sake of market competition, they would not love to service a social frontend that buries their contents. it's going to be a win-win deal if the product is well designed.

Like I noted yesterday, INLEO is just opened up for more and enhanced developments going forward as we journey into the path of sustainability.
