Keychain Store - Taking HIVE & HBD to the Merchants

The adoption of Hive blockchain is growing gradually and gaining momentum in the marketplace. Hive's entrance into the ecommerce industry would mark one of the biggest adoption that would have a huge effect in the Hive economy. It's time we push harder for more institutions and organizations to secure a space (first for their social activities) on Hive and then wallet transactions would follow.

Without a doubt, the most common way for organizations to accept cryptocurrency is through crypto-specific payment processing services. Big names such as BitPay, PayPal, or Coinbase are charting the way for all to follow. We need more merchants to accept hive and cryptocurrencies on Hive blockchain for their daily and regular transactions.

Hive is making a Grand entry into the World of Commerce

A recent Keychain update has introduced Keychain Store - a solution for store owners to start accepting $HIVE and $HBD payments. Taking a leap from what Sucre Venezuela. did, @Keychain has reported its plans with @theycallmedan and @starkerz on getting some stores around the HiveFest venue to accept Hive and HBD payments. This would mark one of the biggest adoption for the Hive blockchain technology and Hive crypto. Hopefully, soon, there would be similar ecommerce solutions for layer 2 tokens.

Keychain Store is already available on Android and iOS. You can download from link or simply scan the QR Code below. Already downloaded the Andriod version of the app and was among the first 50 downloaders and would be testing its effectiveness in my locality to see how easy it would be for merchants to download and utilize the app.

This development is marking a new beginning in the Hive economy and should be embraced by all who love to see the mass adoption of Hive. I'm looking forward to see how this infrastructure can be ised to onboard noew users to Hive. Yes, I mean using a QR code to onboard a new user. Hopefully this should be in the bunker for @Leofinance devs.

It's time to demystify the use of cryptocurrencies in commerce. Thanks that Hive Dollars has shown great characteristics of stability over the past months and can be used to retain the merchant's asset value. Meanwhile, it would be cool to incorporate the HBD saving feature in the Keychain store which can be a source of passive income for merchants when they start receiving HBD as payments for their goods and services.

How to Use Keychain Store

• Step 1: Setup your store username, Keychain Store will verify that the username exists, and will lock it after receiving the first payment to avoid errors in the future.

• Step 2: For each payment, input the amount in HBD or HIVE, and enter or auto-generate a memo.
  This will display a QR Code.

• Step 3: Your customer scans the QR Code, it opens Hive Keychain and prompt them to choose an account and transfer the funds.

• Step 4: Every few seconds, Keychain Store checks for the transfer confirmation and will notify you once it is completed. That's it!

• Confirm: You can also go to the history and see completed and pending payments. If a payment is still pending, you can display the QR Code again and verify its status.
