First 10 Days as a Leo Premium User - Improved Engagements and Rewards!

I am excited to be a Leo premium user. I subscribed 10 days ago as the 58th user, that was 4 days after the launch of the feature. This development ton INLEO appeals to me much more than getting a Twitter blue tick. I'm very bullish about the Leo premium feature because it is a step into the journey of a sustainable Leo ecosystem. Hive's layer 2 is a business layer where anyone can leverage the blockchain and build profitably on it as long as the project gives value to the users. I have drawn so much value from dapps built on Hive's layer 2 and the earnings from this layer have been used to build my main layer portfolio.

Many argue that Leo premium monthly subscription is costlier than Twitter premium and I agree because the value that Leo premium offers is more than what we can get from Twitter premium subscription. Besides, it sucks to have to wait for days into weeks before successfully receiving a blue tick with your money at stake. I've been in the process for days now still without success. On the contrary, my Leo premium subscription was successful within 30 seconds. What a seamless process it was and still is.

Leo Premium is Gaining Adoption

With 101 users already signed up for Leo Premium in its first 2 weeks, it is an indication of a possibility of wide adoption. The projection of 200 users subscribing in the first 30 days is still valid. You may look up the #premium100 tag to see the buzz and rewards that the first 100 premium users are enjoying.

The features unlocked with the "Orange tick" (I preferred a green tick) help me to:

  • edit my threads after posting
  • add Markdown Styling" to my threads
  • publish longer threads
  • pin important threads. I have been looking out for this feature even on Threadcasts.
  • utilize a favorites menu
  • theme my INLEO page to my preference
  • fix a NFT profile picture (PFP)
  • access an auto-AI summarized Long-Form posts into Threadstorms

This is just the beginning of the awesome features that this subscription would afford me and other Hive users who find it appealing. I keenly look forward to the profile shop where I can sell my NFTs and eBooks on my dashboard. Going deeper, I see a bigger picture of benefits for Leo Premium users when the Type 2 &3 communities go live on Hive. Here's what I conceptualized:

Think of a community that issues X NFT and only allows users who own the NFT to participate in the community. Tweaks like "If you sell the NFT you are no longer part of the community" would encourage better community participation and contribution to building rather than milking. Let's take, for instance, the Leo premium feature on INLEO. A new community can be created for only users with the premium badge to be able to enjoy incentives to encourage others to get the badge as well.

Presently, the INLEO ecosystem has the Leo Power, Leo Premium, LPUD Badge features as possible bases for the gamification of the ecosystem. Either or all of the features can be combined to stir users to contribute value to the INLEO ecosystem which would in turn better the ecosystem for more profitability and benefits for the users.

My First 10 Days as a Leo Premium User

Looking up my account today and discovering how significantly my dashboard has changed over the last few days makes me believe that the Leo premium feature would lead to an upward spiral of growth in the LEO ecosystem. My engagement counts have grown unconsciously. I haven't yet set goals for my engagement but it was awesome to notice how significant the numbers got added over the last 10 days:

  • 173 Threads in 7 days
  • 134 Thread replies
  • 436 Threads Votes
  • 8 Top-level long-form posts
  • Huge Posts and Threads rewards.

It's encouraging and I can only want to do more over the next 10 days. I can imagine when the full array of unlock-able features for Leo premium rolls out.

The BIG picture is the fact that the revenue from the LEO premium subscription is used to improve the $HIVE and $LEO economy through the permanent liquidity for HIVE/LEO to be added on a decentralized exchange. This has a far-reaching effect on the overall rebound of the $LEO economy and will encourage more investors to buy into the token.

The Future!

I still have my eyes on the possibilities and more opportunities opening up with the Leo premium feature in place. One such is the suggested Legacy Premium that could be made for organizations, institutions and governments as we onboard them to Hive.

It's a whole new dawn and I am happy to be a part of this move. It can only get better!

There is more improvement coming for INLEO, although I'm still yet to be convince of the benefits of upgrading to premium.
