Community Threads on LeoFinance - A Feedback
LeoFinance is obsessed with building a web3 based social media on Hive blockchain. The desktop and mobile friendly decentralized application has become the fastest way to onboard the web3 environment from web2 platforms. Combining microblogging (on Threads), long form blogging, crypto wallet, NFTs features in one app has made it possible for new entrants into the web3 environment to get acquainted in a short time while also earning cryptocurrencies such as $LEO, $HIVE, $HBD.
Leo users have the secure environment for real-time on-chain conversations and engagements, idea sharing, relationship building as well as gathering up to date information on finance, Cryptocurrency, economy, businesses, technology and investment.
One of the recent development in LeoFinance is the "communities" feature which allow for users to converge, share knowledge and rewards around a specific content niche, product, service or project. The incorporation of "Threads (microblogging)" to communities has made it possible for users to engage on "niche-specific" real-time on-chain conversations and has opened an added source of revenue to microblog creators that attract more engagements.
Suggestions for Improvement
The LeoFinance team are not tired of making iterations and tweaks that would really push LeoFinance to being the web3 version of Elon's envisioned "X-Everything App". Their prompt response to feedbacks from users is always awesome.
Feedback 1: Multiple Layer 2 Earnings on Threads
Hive as a multi-layered blockchain allows it's content creators to earn multiple crypto from one content. Basically, a hive post would earn $HIVE, $HBD as well as layer 2 tokens depending on the relevant tags used.
With threads in Communities now possible, there is need for communities with layer 2 token to be able to also reward quality threads with their token alongside $LEO. This would make users engage threads the more and that means a lot for Leo ads revenue.
I made my first thread in the #thectpswarm community and obviously, mine was the first thread in that community. With the efforts @Jongolson and his team are putting on with building CTP as well as supporting LeoFinance, rewarding threads on #thectpswarm would be an added use case for the $CTP token as well as impact the tokenomics of CTP.
I imagine a top level #business minded thread earning as much as a dollar via Leo author rewards + CTP author reward + Page view rewards + Hive author rewards + HBD. Incredible that would be ! While there are possibilities for abuses but I think earnable tokens on community Threads can be limited to just one token on addition to $LEO, $HIVE and $HBD.
Feedback 2: Creating New Community with Leo Power or $LEO
Earlier today while looking up the remodeled Twitter into "X", I discovered the placement of the "community" tab on the user's homepage. I tapped to see what it looked like that's probably the first time I noticed Twitter has communities). Creating a community on Twitter requires that a user subscribe to Twitter Blue to be able to access that function.
Looking at LeoFinance, there should be the possibility of a user to create a community on LeoFinance based on his pride rank which depends on Leo Power held or directly with $LEO or both. That would create a demand for Leo token which should be burned when used to create a community or rather added to the Leo ads reward pool.
Setting a Leo Power benchmark for community creators and or moderators would make all communities thriving on LeoFinance to also invest and help support the Leo economy. Let's remember that Community Rewards War are coming and that means a lot of motivation for more communities to be created on Hive.
Making it possible for an average Joe to create a community that would grow easily as well as receive support would be a booster to LeoFinance usage. We know what that means to our Monthly Active Users (MAU) goals. Some new communities on Hive barely see the light or earn supports from whale curators, however, visibility of such communities could be easier on the LeoVerse.
The future is social media is here on LeoFinance and we cannot afford to leave any grey area.

Wow,this is a great idea.... really impressed with leofinance's decision on building a web3 social media platform... like that'd be so great. Would love the see it and I hope it's user friendly and rewarding for everyone. And also the ability to earn multiple layers in crypto would be a great way to initiate people on the platform. Only if I would be added to the project,as I designer would really love to be part of such project.... would have been lovely Working with leofinance😊
