A Review of my First Month as LEO Premium User

My First Month of INLEO Premium Subscription

In about 24 hours, my first INLEO Premium Subscription would have been due for renewal. I secured the Leo Premium badge with,10 HBD ($10) primarily to unlock some reserved features in the ever-growing INLEO interface of the Hive Blockchain. Secondarily, the payment of the 10 HBD was to support LeoFinance to generate revenue for providing permanent liquidity in the HIVE/LEO pool on the Binance Smart Chain by buying back $LEO and $HIVE from the Give markets. The buyback has the potential of adding some tangible buy pressure on the LEO and HIVE economies, hence, a possible price rise and market capitalization growth.

Some of the features I have enjoyed over the past 4 weeks as a premium Leo user are:

• Orange checkmark next to my username (mine is green as I preferred the green theme)
• Priority in "For You" feeds
• Edit threads after posting them
• Can add Bold, Italic, and other "Markdown Styling" to my threads
• Publish longer threads of up to 1,000 characters
• Pinned threads
• Favorites menu
• Themes

I'm yet to utilize the NFT profile picture (PFP) and auto-AI to summarize my Long-Form Posts into Threadstorms features. In all, it was an awesome experience with those unlocked features. The $10 was a value-packed investment and I'd love to subscribe as many times as possible.

Impact of Premium Subscription on Leo Economy

The Premium feature was live when LEO was 3 Cents each. LEO token is now at over 5 Cents with bullish tendencies especially as some thousands of $LEO tokens would permanently leave the market for permanent liquidity. It gives investors the impression that the LEO token will always be in demand as users keep enjoying the superb features of the INLEO interface.

Thanks to the evergreen rewards feature that is also coming on soon and how it would re-shape web3 content tokenization.

My Account Growth

Looking up the growth of my account since securing the Leo Premium badge showed a significant increase in engagement. I didn't know how and why that happened, but I know I've missed a couple of Threadcast participations. My social engagements significantly increased by:

• 537 Threads
• 507 Threads replies
• 1042 Threads Vote

That was impressive I would say though low. I had some health and power challenges that limited my engagement in this space, however, marking those numbers was significant. Sending in at least 17 threads daily was really cool. It is important to mention that some of those threads came with $LEO and $HIVE rewards on them, that cannot be tracked. Over the period of my Leo Premium status, I earned 105 HBD ($105) worth of upvotes from @leo.voter.

A Feedback

It's great to see the direction that LeoFinance is heading in terms of sustainability in revenue generation and multiple profitability options for users and investors. There are discussions ongoing concerning what more features can be accessed by Premium users like creating Threadcasts. I wish to look in a different direction. I think a percentage of the premium subscription fee can be used to fund a LEO DAO to encourage developers to build on Hive utilizing the $LEO token.

Secondly, Leo Premium is a step in the right direction but I also think there can be room for categories of premium subscribers. I shared thoughts on Legacy premium option for verified organizations and government officials. uch accounts have the potential to bring the masses to the Hive blockchain.

It's cool to see the "Gift Premium" feature and I hope I can gift that to a friend this Christmas!
