Engagement Metrics rising for SportsTalkSocial.com: Implications on token Price
While it's good that we have a healthy price for our dear SPORTS token, it is also important that we have a healthy community. This, I mean that we have to be conscious that https://www.sportstalksocial.com/ built on the Hive blockchain is a socialmedia and the unique feature of a socialmedia is engagement.
As the price of SPORTS keeps sustaining the momentum, it is important that we should seek to build our engagement within the community to help raise the SEO ranking of the website which would allow the search engine pop up related searches on top of the search results list. With this, new users would easily join and that would have a great impact on the ad revenue that can be generated for the community when that feature finally rolls out.
The essence of ad revenue is that it would be used to buy off SPORTS from the market and same is burn to further reduce the token supply. I have been a part of the LeoFinance community in the last 11 months and this is how the LF community started gaining relevance - engagement.
Looking up the alexa page for STS website, we can see that the site metrics are going green showing that the engagement on this website is gradually growing. With 4.26 day Time on Site and 3.8 daily page views per visitor, it's showing that the website is beginning to gain the attention of visitors which is very strategic in ad impressions. We're bouncing back at a 28.6 % rate which is decent.
That being said, I see it could be possible to bring back the sportstalsksocial.com website to the top 100k websites in the next 30 days if we all engage the 20 comments Daily Game. Below is the link to the full details of the game.
It's simply an engagement game and soon, I'll consider adding a prize to all who will participate once a tracking mechanism has been built to gather users' engagement stats on daily basis. Sincerely, it's possible to make an impression of 50 comments per day in few hours if one decides. It's full of learning and fun and I think I do that on daily basis on the Hive blockchain more consistently in the past week.
We all must be ready to build the future we desire by putting our hands on deck to grow this community which will in turn preserve the investments we've made here. remember, as @Nathanmars7 would say, we all own Hive. With Hive-engine going decentralized with witness votes now running, our second layer tokens would be more secured.

The more the engagement the better the health of the website and the token as well.
Looks like the sports engagement dropped off for a bit, but it is slowly improving back to what we were at 90 days ago. I think one of the reasons is probably the jump in SPORTS price.
I think I heard Patrick mention that we don't specifically have a ad network on Sportstalk, but he is working on something similar. When it is implemented, I was planning to disable my brave shield similar to what I currently do on Leofinance. I think he also planned to have some sports betting as well.
I guess he was talking about a-ads.com. Not sure what happened with it.

It dropped drastically. There was a time that STS website ranked under top 300k websites. Surely, we can redeem that.

The thing is , we need to keep up the momentum . Bring in constant updates , bring in more usecases , fix the flaws . Only then we will be able to maintain the prices. Don't you think?

Yes it should be our focus to increase the ranking of the website. Of sports talk can start a partner program, where referral system will be there, then many new users can be attracted. Can we convey the suggestion to the whales or developed??
Yes, as the website ranking improves, the visibility of sports updates made from here would improve and that would help bring more visitors to read our contents and add to our ad revenue.
