Self Awakening In Check.

putting in all the work
for I shall not be found wanting
when the push comes to shove
is the time to stay strong solid like rock
life is a indeed a school of hard knocks

I understand money is the best cutlery
to eat the good things of life
no doubt about that
but is it everything?
I hope you have enough of it
before you say it's not everything

contented with my present self
but I aspire to be more
ain't no crime in that
just trying to lose my old self
call that an upgrade
for change will forever be constant

It's all about the daily bread
if you're broke you won't be able to break bread
not having enough is what I dread
reason I keep it green not red .

afterall, there will always be someone
who doesn't see my worth
I would never let it be me though
no doubt, I'm the best version of myself

the fire of ambition within me does thrive,
seeking growth and improvement has done me no wrong,
I'll therefore strive for a brighter self,
a journey lifelong full of adventures
one to always remember and savour
