NEW MUSIC FRIDAY

Happy weekend guys! Thank God it's Friday, coincidentally this Friday marks the end of the month of June . The year is kind of fast if you ask me as we will officially enter the second half of the year tomorrow.

What I do not escape doing everyday is listening to music. It is a part of me and it's sort of my coping mechanism. Yeah you're right , it's my therapy. I listen to a whole lot of secular music but the afrobeat music genre is certainly my favorite and there's really no doubt about that .

I've taken it as a responsibility to update you on new songs making the airplay on the Naija music scene.

These days I stream most of my songs from Boomplay . Trust me , this music app is reliable and user friendly. On there you can get the lastest music updates both local and international.

It's already summer time , so I guess most artistes both home and abroad are indeed putting in so much work and effort to cook up summer jams or hits . This of course will be of huge and immense benefit to them if there songs make headway in the recognized streaming platform rankings.

On today's episode of new music Friday
I've got a couple of new cool music for your pleasure and hearing. At your free time you could look them up and tell me what you feel about any of them . I honestly won't mind that .

In no particular order I'll be starting with Tekno. "pana" crooner Tekno blessed us with a single he titled "peace of mind" . This will be his 5th single this year . He has previously dropped singles like "sunshine" "back2time" "divine" and "all night long" . This recent song of his is such a calm song with a mid tempo vibe . peace of mind is underated that's why I'm patient is a lyric of the single . Kindly please check it out and share your thoughts.

Any track featuring Fireboy or Odumodu blavk you sure know bangs. This time around Odumodu acquires the services of YBNL act , Fireboy for this single called
"firegun" . This is a track I'm sure will be topping streaming platforms pretty soon .
So much punchlines from these two goons . You should look it up , I'm sure you will find it interesting

Top naija dj, Dj Spinall also releases a hot single for the street consumption. He titles this ,"loju" . He features starboy himself, Wizkid on this . You know a Dj Spinall and Wizkid Collab will always hit and won't miss . I like the feels of this song as it is a groovy tune that will set the mood right at any party or any social gathering .

Former Marlian Records star, Mohbad comes up with a fire ep this time around. The 8 track ep titled "blessed" features two naija artistes namely Zlatan and Bella Shmurda. Mohbad really went hard on his verses on these tracks trust me . His wordplay is insane albeit he uses indegenous language like yoruba with his flows. If you're fluent with the yoruba language you will easily relate to his lyrics.

Mavins act Crayon also blesses us with a new track this summer time . He titles it "Modupe" . The "ijo laba laba" crooner no doubt is talented as he has times without number proved himself as one who knows his onions when it comes to making new skool afrobeat sounds. This new song is a follow up to his buzzing track "the one(chop life)" featuring Yaba Buluku Boys . It is a more or less a dancing tune as it sounds so groovy and easy to vibe to .

To wrap this session up , Babyboy AV as he now calls himself comes up with a fresh new track for his teeming fans as well . He calls this " quick question" . It is a romantic song with a vibe of African tune. He is a young act who burst to the Naija music scene about two years ago with his hit track , "big thug boys" .
