Think about technologies like AI or chatGPT. You are excited about the solution it brought, but you are scared of the adverse effects in the future. AI will need more strict regulations in the future before we create something that consumes all of us.

Blockchain and cryptocurrency are like Thor. Since the inception of blockchain and bitcoin, a lot of people have shifted in finances. We have a fast, secure, transparent, and freedom to transact without the plaque of third parties. Bitcoin is one of the best things that has ever happened to humanity. This technology has a net-good effect. Forget about the volatility because volatility is one of the great ways to make people richer. It is very much less harmful.

Despite a lot of attacks on Bitcoin from the early days till now, it is still thriving and making ways for other great projects to thrive. A lot of influenced people tried to end it. They call it a scam, Ponzi, bad money and all sort of negativities to drop it down, but it is much more insulated than their words. However, other people that understand freedom have been praising it. Robert Kiyosaki, Bill Gate, predicted Bitcoin many years before Bitcoin. Tim Cook said he owned some Bitcoin. Michael Saylor is igniting the fire of Bitcoin every day

As prominent as Bitcoin is, there are still many people who are yet to know or invest their dime in it. I asked someone yesterday if she knows about Bitcoin and she said, “I have heard about it but I don’t know what it is all about” This is after 14 years. There is a need for more evangelists to emerge for the freedom we have in Bitcoin.

Bitcoin has a cap of 21 million and currently over 19.4 million bitcoin have been mined. We are getting closer to the cap limit and what will happen after this would be the fact that no bitcoin will be mineable again and the ones in circulation will be extremely high. A non bitcoiner would say that will limit circulation but this will do otherwise for the good and growth of Bitcoin. There are other alt coins that are great and Hive is definitely one of them. Twitter is currently building toward the structure of Hive. There is a new community feature on Twitter. However, Twitter is still not decentralized but I imagine Leofinance has the marketing capacity with the current interface. This is where the truly decentralized content platform lies.

Blockchains and their currencies have been a great solution and have taken us closer to the freedom we seek. Hive is home to many and Leofinance is the abode for people. How would the current web be without Bitcoin?
