Exploring My Inner World with the Greyscale Series

I am thrilled to announce my third series of paintings called "Greyscale Series." It was created with acrylic on paper, this collection comprises 11 thought-provoking paintings of different sizes that invite viewers to delve into my and their own inner world, unraveling profound reflections on existence, energy, and the human experience.

"Space Engine"

The painting transports you to a realm where the smoke of an extinguished candle takes center stage. Two unusual "space travel machines" head in opposite directions, emitting a unique and captivating energy. Inspired by aliens, extraterrestrial creatures, and the exploitation of energy and resources, this painting embodies the peculiar and “out of worldly experience” into one.

"The Simple Sample"

The painting appears deceptively straightforward, completely colored in shades of grey. The visible brushstrokes may initially make you hesitate and find it simple, but as you concentrate on one detail, a larger pattern emerges throughout the entire artwork. It gently invites you to dance with my creation, revealing hidden depths within its seemingly simple composition.

The idea of the painting came to me as I was creating this artwork. It represents the snail's journey through difficult times, with the worst part now behind it. As the snail reaches the red dot of awareness, a new life begins. This piece symbolizes the transformative power of overcoming challenges and embracing new beginnings.

Dreaming of Dolphins

The painting invites you to immerse yourself in the vibrant life of dolphins. Through this artwork, I offer you the chance to swim freely alongside these magnificent creatures, imagining the joy and freedom they embody. Let us all learn to enjoy life, smile, and laugh like dolphins. Life is a unique and a beautiful experience of the journey of our soul.

Everlasting Purgatory

The painting depicts life as a blurry path leading to death, and perhaps resurrection (if you believe that is possible). It should remind us that life is not simply black and white; it exists within a spectrum of experiences. Through this piece, I encourage you to embrace the complexities of life's journey. As my friend would say: “Contrasts for appreciation”.

Let go of your ID

The painting delves into the profound struggle of self-identification and introspection. The painting depicts a human being tormented by an incessant mind, unable to find peace through meditation or to see reality as it truly is. In a desperate quest to answer the fundamental question, "Who am I?" the individual resorts to self-inflicted punishment. Is there a better way? There are no limits. Everything is limitless, and everyone is. There are no rules. They are all imaginary, and false pretenses. Be true to the real reality.

The Meaning of Life

The painting challenges conventional notions of life's sanctity. Through two extinguished candles and graves (symbolism placed within the artwork), I invite you to contemplate the purpose of existence. It is a story of life, guided by the understanding that it is a ride (an amusement park experience), giving you a choice between fear and love.

The Resurrection

The painting symbolizes my belief in the continuous cycle of life beyond physical death. It is possible that we have multiple lives (as a part of a learning experience). Whether it is seen as a miraculous event or a natural process of reincarnation, death serves as a gateway to a place of safety, happiness, and personal paradise—the "happy place" where everything feels alright.

The New Dance

The painting is an abstract representation of a woman gracefully dancing in a crinoline with a ribbon stick. This painting reflects my newfound perspective on embracing my true self and creating art for myself and the joy it gives me. It was inspired by a transformative event in my life and the empowering song "Roar of Love" by Felix Jaehn & De Hofnar.

Ultimately Love Wins

The painting holds a special place in my heart, as it was created for a special holiday called “Sant Jordi” (St. George). This artwork celebrates the triumph of love, symbolized by the victorious rose over the dragon. It embodies my belief that, in the grand tapestry of life's cycles, love will reign supreme, remaining the sole entity seated upon the throne of life.
