Got some UTOPISs !

Here's an update on my hive-engine shenanigans.

Two days ago I got myself some UTOPISs:

This is a new project by @chronocrypto that pays daily dividends. In some ways it's similar to BRO but it has some twists. Hopefully, it will appreciate in value in a similar fashion.

As a reminder, I got into BRO at 3 hive a piece now it sells at around 7-9. Not bad! And don't forget. Bro pays daily dividends too ;)

I'll wait a bit and maybe buy more in the future if I get a good vibe.

As a side note, I now have 5 hive-engine investments paying daily dividends:

  • My Dcity
  • BRO
  • Dhedge
  • Utopi
  • Archon (which i get for free by using the archon tag, lol)

And I have come up with a long term plan in the past 4 days or something. Sell the free daily dividend tokens that I don't care for (e.g. SIM, Blurt, STEM) for swap.btc, stake or hold the rest I like (e.g. archon). Here's how much swap.btc I have collected since:

Hopefully in a year or so I ll have a nice amount of swap.btc and these dividend tokens will also have appreciated even more in value... Time will tell I guess..For now they are doing mighty fine!

Thanks for the information about the new token.

Just wondering, what's the minimum Archon now to get drips? I know there's a minimum but never got around to finding the current amount.

It depends on Governance Power of account. 50% of GP comes from staking archon & 50% from holding ARCHONM (miners). I have around 0.23% of GP and receive daily drips. I guess below a certain point rewards are low and get accumulated and paid when it crosses a minimum threshold.

Yes I was asking about it on Discord and it is 0.001% GP. Apparently I have 0% GP which confuses me and I have had over 7 ARCHON staked for over a week now. Technically I have been staking ARCHON for well over a month so I expected a number greater than 0. In Discord, taskmanager said he would have to dig into the code to see why I am not showing up at all.

here are my drips as per today with 0.25% GP.
Having 0.001% GP would give you very low or about 250 times lesser rewards than my drips. What I believe is that amount is too low to transact on hive or account for.

Bro was probably one of the nicest project at those early days many people didn't take it to heart to pick it up. Good business for you. I'll probably need to buy into UTOPISs, I won't miss out this time. Good business, look at your bag, looks damn healthy.

Swap.btc , swap.ltc , swap.doge are pegged at BTC,LTC,DOGE .
There are many other too.

I want to do something similar on Hive-Engine and turn some of my random profits into BTC.

Is the price of SWAP.BTC on Hive-Engine much higher than just buying BTC outright on an exchange?

I did some quick calculations with my head, the price wasn't far of. In the long term it will imo be a good choice I think as I doubt tokens like weed or sim are heading anywhere...whereas btc it's going only up

Understandable but it has to be like that , it can't be hardcapped because they have to represent the market so if they have to buy new token which is released they have to keep on raising Hive to buy it.

I woke up and saw the market crashed. I logged in to hive and saw you're posting serious stuff and not dick and vagina coins. Hence I blame entire market crash on you! Cheers!

But damn, what a great idea about the swap.btc thing. I was just wondering a few days back the hell am I supposed to do with some if these tokens lol! Didn’t even seem worth selling, but converting to small amounts of swap.btc makes sense.

Great to know, thank you. I was wondering what to do with the second layer tokens. How do we move them into Hive token? All I see is swaphive, which I have no idea how to turn into Hive, if you have any advice.

And why SIM is only on a down trend? I feel less inclined to invest in my dCity now. And what happened with your plan to become governor of dCity? I voted for you there lol.

Ah, that makes sense. Limited quantities are much better in the long run! I didn't know that about the token. I don't remember what I bought at, so I would probably take a loss if I sold now.

Great idea. I have 3 of those tokens and am looking at what to do with the dividends too.
