Airdrop (claimdrop) for blurt users!

Yeah, BLURT is pretty much dead at this point but there's an airdrop (or claimdrop to be more specific) going on so you may want to give it a try. The claimdrop is on the cosmos blockchain (first time I hear it) and the process is pretty straightforward.

Just follow the steps described in this post:

https://blurt.blog/blurt/@megadrive/cosmosdrop-attestation

All in all, it took me only 5 minutes to install that keplr thingie and send my adress to claim my drop.

Please note, although that keplr thingie looks safe, my advice is to install it in a new blank user account that doesn't have admin privileges. Or even better, on a dummy device that you use exclusively for crap like that. Personally I use an old laptop that runs Xubuntu when hunting for free coins that require installing stuff, and is super fast despite its shitty specs and old age. Never hurts to stay a bit paranoid :)

Happy milking!

Cosmos is a great blockchain and is built on top of tendermint.

it has been around for awhile but I would not do anything that involves those BlURT people.

I don't trust them at all.

Going to have to pass on this one

That's the risk of free riches. If you play it safe like I explain there's no risk, only $$

Yeah, BLURT is pretty much dead at this point

It's only 100 time LESS valuable that HIVE. Didn't it used to be 3c when HIVE was 11c?

Hmmm.. some fall from grace. I had not looked in a while.

I had the opinion it would be worth 20%-30% of hive. But i was wrong :D

I was shocked to see how low it has dropped.

me2. but I hold it. I "waste" some funds buy some stake in it. Bought it on a much higher price :P

Yeah, at this point it's not even worth the couple clicks to sell. I know I am too lazy for that 😂

Disclaimer: Claimdrops may or may not occur, they will be done on a best effort basis and may not eventuate, but it is a good idea to attest incase they do materialise. @cosmosdrop will become a cache of active user credentials. The more attestations we have, the more interesting our community becomes to other projects seeking to bootstrap a community via airdrops.

Sourced from the link provided. Almost sounds like folks are being lured into handing over personal information/data of some kind and you're talking about sketchy installations on top of that. Wow. How can I possibly pass this up...

Its more often than not airdrops are scetchy when you install stuff. Still, I made a killing from that byteballs thingie and dhunt (I think it was called that way) that happened on steemit. And MANY others did. There's no personal data btw, just an adress that you provide.

Anyways, I ALWAYS recommend to do them from dummy devices when they require anything more than providing an addy or doing some social shares. If you feel uncomfortable there's no pressure 😂

LOL don't worry man. Even if you were pressuring me, I wouldn't feel pressured.

Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Free potential money falling from the sky is never a loss. It exists for the same reason a crack dealer might give you a rock to try first. And once you know where he lives wow! Giving him all your money just becomes so much easier.

Sure, some have made money with airdrops. We'll ALWAYS hear those stories here in crypto content world. But typically the tokens become useless and worthless the day of the drop due to dumpers and the projects go stale within a week. Little cults remain and form around whatever is left and they all dream of some magical investor falling from the sky to invest and make them rich. Never happens, nobody learns, same damn thing next year... ;)

Some? Yeah, I guess only some doubled their money overnight in the hive fork ( essentially an airdrop to steem holders). 🤷

Shrugs

Yeah I guess that example makes everything I said entirely inaccurate and I should be ashamed of myself.

Whatever happened to the days where a guy could just get away with being a facetious jackass?

Lol! Yeah to be fair most airdrops are shit or scam but generally it's a great way to distribute coins! Take uni for example! Or the Leo airdrop which I missed! But I managed to amass a very nice stake for super cheap because of all the dumpers. :)

Sometimes when the product (if there actually is a product, usually there isn't) is useful, yeah, you're better off picking up the dust once it settles.

I received a few LEO off the bat, 2k to 3k can't remember. Almost missed out on that palnet airdrop though which came first. Almost. I view an airdrop locally here on Hive slightly differently than I would some shit on the outside. Initially receiving second layer options for holding HP was one of the perks of holding HP. Some second layer devs threw that idea out the window and devalued HP in the process. So whatcha gonna do...

byteballs i made 20$, was not worth the effort :) I think i have some left, is this worth anything now?

Steemhunt was sad, i had some tokens and don't claim them on ETH :)

Now this, install things is so uncool. But will it be the next thing that goes to the moon for free? :D

Just 20$? That's sad 😂

It was the weird airdrop right? with first you get 50% and after 1 year you get the other 50%.

Yes that one. I had a high lvl account (and many alts!) so I earned quite a lot 🤣😂

Waiting to off load mine and was hoping for some movement up at some point. Just don't see it though and is more likely to snow here first before that happens.

I'll pass on this one too since I don't have any $BLURT. I powered it down and withdrawn immediately after they forked away.

Good luck with the drop.

do you know how many tokens will be airdroped? is it depending on Blurt stake?

I don't have any significant amount of Blurt with me. The last set of blurt I converted to DHedge following your footprints. 😀

Well I don't have a BLURT account so I feel left out but who cares at this point I guess.

No i don't think i will haha.. but unfortunately many of these projects created like blurt.. cloned like blurt will have to follow a similar path.

I would give a try but you need to spend Blurt in order to do anything on ...Blurt. Very frustrating...
