It's hot! 🌡️♨️

I have been so busy these last days! I have a lot of work to do and I can't find the motivation to get things done because in the city where I live, the temperature is 30°, it can be 40°. It's incredibly stifling, humid. I can hardly breathe, I keep drinking cold drinks to cool down but nothing helps. Normally I am a person who never sweats and I love hot weather. I can say that this is the first time I have felt the heat so intensely this summer. It is definitely much higher! Besides the heat, the city is now so crowded that even going out and doing routine work is very tiring. Artillery transportation is not used because of the crowd. You have to wait in traffic for hours to go by private car. I have spent my life in Istanbul, but this year is the first time we are experiencing such an intense crowd.

Leaving everything aside, I have a dog to take care of as a priority. I can understand how hard it is for him when even I am having such a hard time. I constantly prepare ice water for him and cool him down. He has his own air conditioner too!

He did it today because he was very dirty, but he is not happy because he hates bathing! You can tell by the look on his face, can't you? Because he goes to the park, he gets dirty very quickly and we have to give him a bath. And he is very relaxed after bathing.

Even though dogs love to play with water, my daughter doesn't like water very much. I bought a pool for her on the terrace but she got scared and wouldn't go in. For now, I am trying to cool her down with ice. We take care of ourselves somehow, but it is an incredibly difficult summer for street animals. I hope the temperatures return to normal as soon as possible and we can breathe!
