Yipeee!!! I Have Finally Started my Offline Business.
Great news to the hive community, we are now live. So days ago, I made a post on the build of my business and how hive came through for me. You can always check out the post here and also help me thank the community.
So after I finished building, I still had this fear to start because omooo after all was pumped in, I didn't want to let myself down so I kept on postponing my launch date and it kept on affecting me on several ways. So on one faithful day, after realising that I can no longer postpone, I ended up fixing a proposed date and started working towards that date. Getting everything in place and really praying for that said date. As it drew closer, I knew it was here and I prepared myself mentally for all possible outcomes. Trusting God for sales, I still knew that as a start-up, I still need some time to get my name out there.
Prior to the date, I had a discussion/meeting with an investor. So this conversation lasted for almost 2hours discussing a potential investment deal. Even though I needed the money she was offering big time, but the amount of share she was requesting for was too much. How would I sell 30% of my sweat to someone. I just couldn't do that. So after she made a very funny statement where I am the one working and all she does is receive monthly ROI, I came up with a very funny and annoying suggestion. The suggestion was that we employ 2 people, a manager and a normal kitchen assistant. Obviously, I will be the manager and an additional personnel will be added and asides my monthly salary, when the business starts bring profits, I am still entitled to my 70% and my salary. So I ended by telling her that if she agrees, all we need to do is get lawyers, draft the contract and sign then we are good to go.
After making this suggestion I knew a normal person would never agree to this and that was the major point to the suggestion. Her reply was that she'd get back to me and that was how we ended the meeting.

We finally launched on the 25th of August 2023 and it was amazing. It wasn't easy though because I was on my feet for 5hours cooking because people kept on ordering instant noodles coupled to the fact that I started cooking late because of some issues. So we have finally started and though challenges are showing up but we will definitely outshine it because na who give up fvck up.
My prayer is just for favour. With the way food items are increasing in this country, one can only be prayerful for sales.
I also have an idea or so many ideas to bring the name to people's ears but it will unfold as time goes by. Hive food community is also part of my plans.

I had to smile when I see that you are passionate about cooking. While I gave you a tiny part of my goal to bring capital to people part of my dream is producing quality foodstuffs that aren't typically mass marketed (competing with major corporations on stuff like Rice, Soybeans, Corn and so on it financial suicide).
After growing the food the next step is making good tasting dishes out of it or at least adding value through pickling, drying, fermenting and so on.
I hope your food business is growing well, and who knows maybe in time I'll get your input on recipe creation for various foodstuffs.
Funny thing is that I just observed your display picture and saw a plant.

In case you are curious... When I first started this account I started with ZERO balance and added no "real" money to the account. I wanted to show that someone can start with nothing and turn it into a measurable amount of money (I think I'm close to $800HBD vaule right now after about 10 months). The first thing I "purchased" with the money I made was Actifit was some Soy Beans and grew them as a sign that even a tiny investment can make something bigger over time.
That's my current profile picture. Soy Sprouts.
Although I think that I'll soon change that to a Strawberry plant. One Strawberry plant can give you a constant supply of strawberries and if you take care of the runners it can keep giving you additional plants month after month. Somewhat symbolic of how I see growth of an investment project :)
