So guys, My Shop was Burgled Into Yesterday

Writing this with a forced smile on my face is all I can do at the moment and look for a way forward cause that's all I can do now, no need crying over spilled milk.

So, I had my entire yesterday planned out from my waking up to my sleeping. The first task that I had to accomplish was my daily interaction on the hive platform starting with dropping my content for the weekly challenge on the hive learners community and after which, engaging with others posts within and outside the community. I think I also went to discord and starting observing some of the communities.

After spending the best part of my morning/mid day. I decided to out to the market so that I can start preparing for opening my business for the year. I was very very sceptical about going because I was definitely going to be spending alot at the market. After successfully moving the funds from Piggyvest to my Opay for swift transfer, I summoned enough courage and set of for the market. Going to the market I went to my customer (her prices are very moderate and she's friendly). On getting there, she greeted with joy in her heart and smils on her face (maybe she knew I have come to restock). Well to those wondering, I have a food spot where we sell Rice, Spag and stir fry noodles.

I started my shopping guys, got all I needed, rice, all my spices, corn etc. I wanted to stay without getting any Spaghetti because I still have some at the spot I refused to buy more noodles because I had some extra and got more late last year like 2½ was remaining. I bought half pack of spag since I used just 4 or so from the pack I had last year. After getting all these, the time for judgement came.

We started calculating our gbese and like play like, the prices were raising (asif they were supposed to reduce in the first place) after the entire calculations, the result was out and I could barely hold in the pain on my eyes because wtf did I buy that you are telling me that my money is this (all in my head though) because she no force me to buy them in the first place. I had no choice but to pay up the bill before they stone me. After paying, this woman saw the pain in my eyes and she said "you will sell". I left there to go get some other things like egg, gas burner etc.

Took a bike to my spot. On getting there after dropping all my loads,first thing I noticed to my greatest surprise was all my light bulbs that I placeed outside were gone. I was like who is that that steals bulbs then I tried not to let it not spoil my vibe for the year and let it off my chest.
After greeting all my neighbours, I opened my container and I noticed the other side door was open. On noticing that, my eyes directed my attention to an empty space and it took me time to recall what was there then it dawned on me that my sound system was gone.

That moment, I knew I was robbed big time. I started to check if other stuffs were missing also then I noticed that my noodles were missing, my takeaways (I wonder what they wanted it for), my spaghetti also was gone. At this point, I was just weak in the legs. I brought the attention of my neighbours to the incident and I was told of something similar that happened to one of them where they tried to drag her purse but they couldn't and they left with her phone.

With all these that happened, my only consolation was the fact that my chest freezer was still inside. Of that one was stolen also. I don't know what I would have done. Probably they couldn't move it because of the tight space in which they came through but which ever reason it was, thank God it's still safe.

I spent the rest of the day cleaning because the side door was open and sand, insects were in already. I couldn't take pictures of the place cause I wasn't thinking straight at that point.

Today I beefed up the security. I called welder to help with the locks to make my properties safer and when I have more cash, I will try to cover up all the accessable spaces around the container.
