Converting Your Passion into Cash

It is popularly said or known that inorder to be really productive in life, one must do what he loves because that is the only thing that gets one going when the body seems tired.

But the main question is does doing what you love take you closer to getting the bag??

Well that's what we will find out. So let's go 😁😁😁

Do I have a hobby?

Can it make me money?

How can I use it to make money?

Will it last??

The above listed are what I will be talking about and you can also use them if it can work for you. So my people, let's dive into the discussion

What is Hobby??

Before talking about a thing let's try to define it first so as to know the direction on which we are going to.
So, what is Hobby?
According to Oxforddictionarylearners, they described it to be "an activity that you do for pleasure when you are not working"
and
Dictionary.com described it as "an activity or interest pursued for pleasure or relaxation and not as a main occupation".

But to me, I will describe hobby as something you derive pleasure from doing. Doing something you love. Recently I saw a movie (Kdrama) of a lady who does several part time jobs but does them to bring money but the only time she actually relaxes is when she gets home and still find time to do what she loves.
In her case, she had no option but to do side jobs waiting for the day her passion paves way (and it did).

But does it work in real life??
Will it work for me??

Going back to my first question. Do I have an hobby?? Hmmmm
Let me just say that I have several things I love doing. Here are a few;

  • Cooking
  • Eating
  • Making money 😁😁😁
  • Writing
  • Trading
  • The best of it is seeing my creations come to live.
  • Engaging with people.

amongst others.
All these have actually played a massive role in directing my journey in life but still I don't think I can confidently answer the second question.

Can it make me money?

This is where wisdom comes in. Part of my hobby as I listed is engaging with people. I just love it and not because I wanted to gain from it, I just loved it. Anywhere I went, after some minutes I would just start a discussion or make friends around. So as time went by, I decided to open a WhatsApp TV and it was so real because I didn't do it for anything but to engage people and put smiles on their faces. After setting up the TV and I was fuelling my passion, I figured I needed to earn if I wanted to sustain the passion because bills started coming in. So I learnt affiliate marketing and only introduced them (my viewers) to only trusted platforms. Till now, I still do. So that was one way I monetized my passion.

My other passion which is writing is where hive comes in.

Cooking. I love cooking and seeing the look on someones face when they eat my food was payment alone (I said was oooo) so I decided to go pro by saving up and opening a spot for good food 😉😉😉

Although I have plans to fuse cooking and writing together and it is also made to bring more cash flow but that's later in the future but for now, they are 2 worlds apart.

My love for bringing things to live.

Growing up, I was also told that I also wanted to open and see what makes things move. So choosing my career path was not really a big deal when I started having sense because compared to others that their parents actually forced them to a career choice, mine led me to the one I desired. Just imagine of they asked me to do law or accounting instead, I would just be miserable but the joy I get after achieving a goal in engineering is to die for.

Will my passion forever make me cool cash?
If do e wisely and correctly, it should make me cash but as always, I have my certificate to fall back on and guess what, it is also a passion of mine🤣🤣🤣.

I guess for a long time, I can monetize my passion.

Good one bro. My brother also has the same issue of wanting to see what movies in toys and what play in the television screen 😂. Guess what. He didn’t studied engineering but all he repairs at home are always amazing of where he got the knowledge from. I believe there is a lot to gain from doing what one loves.

Lolz
I was told that I used to scatter alot of things back then. Recently my TV spoilt and instead of taking it to the repair person, I just opened and I have been watching YouTube videos since. The joy I will get when it finally works is priceless.

Also no money outside too 🤣🤣🤣
