Ever been in a situation where you have to let someone go not because you want to but because you have to do that to protect the person from being hurt. I got to understand alot from this movie. Do not be afraid, I promise not to over do with the spoilers. But that's not a promise that will be easy to keep though. So let's dive into the movie review.

So as I got back from church this past Sunday and was jobless, I remembered a friend recommended a movie for me to watch and what better time to watch it other than that moment before I become busy again. Another thing that captivated me to watch the movie was the title and the story line. So guys, let's go. In this review, I will be talking from my point of view of the movie. Introduction

Before we dwell more on the movie, a quick/short introduction on the movie.
This is an action based movie that showcases a mothers love at the peak. It also shows the fact that blood is thicker than water.
What happens when a mother gets involved with the wrong company and she finds out she is pregnant then wants to pull out. In doing so, it becomes difficult and has to give up her child and watches slowly. But what happens when the past comes knocking, does she keep her promise to stay away or she comes to save the day?

My Opinions On The Characters.

So, since I promised not to over drop spoilers, I will just write about 3 characters.

The Mother

Seeing the name of the movie alone, you'd guessed this is the lead role. The mother in this movie is the actor, the superman that comes. Acted by the famous Jennifer (not Funke Akindele ooo). Alright, I was shocked at first when I saw her picture on the movie and saw she was also the main character in the movie, Why won't I be surprised when almost all her movies I have seen were either romance or comedy and then she is now the leading role in the action. I had my doubts but was impressed at the end.

I was even more impressed seeing that all her stunts were done by her that alone shows commitment and work not talking about the workouts to get this build. Kudos to her can't wait to see her in more action movies.

Zoe

A 12 year old girl give up to foster parents since she was little. Her life gets complicated and in danger after been kidnapped and involved in her biological mother's past. This fragile and innocent child now has to learn skills that would be needed to protect herself when in danger. In doing so, she gets to build the relationship between her and her mother.

This bonding is cut short after she was in an incident and gives her real name to the doctor.

Cruise

The FBI agen0t who was seeing the confession of "The Mother" was shot when hector decided to pay back for betrayal but rescued. In return, he became incharge of protecting the daughter but as soon as he got word of an uprising coming to make a move on the daughter (Zoe), he had no choice but to inform "The Mother" and after she finally got kidnapped, they both do everything to rescue her.

To me personally, I felt a little connection between these two but too bad we couldn't find out.

The Movie As A Whole

"The Mother" is an action-packed movie that showcases the depths of a mother's love in an unethical but captivating way. Lucy Paez (the daughter), also didn't slack as she delivers strong performances, bringing authenticity and emotional acting when needed.
