An Instruction Gone wrong.

As much as this story might not seem funny to those involved, to me it was the funniest day ever, even just recalling the day makes me want to laugh again, wait let me control myself and tell the story. But nobody should come for me I am only writing about a funny day to me. I couldn't think of another thing, it was only this day that came to my head. Lolz.

Friday night, I and my husband were discussing how the next day would be and since it was a Saturday which meant that we would be going to church for choir rehearsals, I hadn't attended church in a while so it was like a thing, it was somehow strange because it has been over five months I attended church service, because I know some persons might want to question why it would be strange going to church.
Saturday morning came and from 6 am it rained cats and dogs, my younger sister jessy messaged me on WhatsApp to complain about the rain, I told her we had no choice but to go since she and my husband were the ones leading the song for Sunday.
The rehearsal time was supposed to be 2 pm but it was still raining, another issue was our bad road, the road to church or anywhere was just one and that same road was very bad and at this rainy period, those bikes guys would charge double, and there was the annoying part, they will drop you at a point to walk some distance because at that point the road would be too slippery for bikes even for people walking on foot.

So this day we decided to go on foot so we could go past that bad road and then take a bike from the point that wasn't bad to church.
We walked for about 45minutes until we were almost out of the bad area, just as we arrived at the spot which was safe to take a bike, my sister discovered a stream-like water flow and so we washed our muddy legs and there we found a bike man that would take us to church

Now this is where the funny event happened.

Just as we moved from where we washed our legs, my younger sister was first to move forward towards the bike man as he directed us on the path to follow, the man said "just follow inside the water", if only we had known we wouldn't take his advise, I was the last on the line, my husband was in front of me. My sister moved forward and before we knew what was happening I heard "Gbam!!!!" Like thunder sounds my sister was on the ground and I don't even know if my husband was trying to help her but the next sound I heard again was another "Gbam!!!! he too had just fallen at the same spot jessy had fallen.

It was like a dream and I didn't know where the laugh came from I immediately started laughing uncontrollably, thinking that I was just about to go through the same place they had gone. Omo, I did an about-turn and went to pass another side, jessy was also laughing still sitting in the water, then she stood up, and my husband also stood up and thanked God the mess wasn't much because they had fallen in the water instead of the mud area.
However, my husband blamed the bike man for directing them to the wrong path.

Let's just say I laughed like never before, even when we got home I recounted the incident to my mom and elder sister, they also joined in laughing.
