This sort of thinking might be the basis for a universal basic income. At a most basic level, everybody has to crap. If it turns out that there is economic value in that, then it forms the foundation for a new economy. If methane can be used instead of natural gas or propane, then it serves as a much more sustainable renewable energy source. But, there are likely other forms of output that the most unskilled or disabled individual could provide to generate value.

Politicians would stand to gain the most from such an economy given that they are so full of crap.
