Coming back to the quotes with yet another by James Clear. This time his topic of choice was passions and hobbies.

I really like this one because it shows there is more to a person than what they show on the surface.

Personally, I have a very curious mind so it's not hard for me to discover new hobbies and passions as much as keeping up with them, but that's a story for another day.

In my opinion, having a broad set of interests expands your mind and helps you comprehend things that are not necessarily within your grasp. It really helps me both on a personal and professional level.

It's also a very good conversation starter!

For example, one of my hobbies that most people find uncommon and surprising is that I grow carnivorous plants at home. While most people know what they are, not many people have experience raising them or even know someone else who does so it's not hard for me to get a good group around me for a good 30 minutes or so at parties.
