¡Culminando una Etapa! Mi Presentación de Tesis fue un éxito

La defensa de una tesis es un momento culminante en la vida académica, un evento que marca la transición de estudiante a profesional. Es un día que se anticipa con una mezcla de emociones: la emoción de compartir el trabajo de investigación que ha consumido tantas horas, la ansiedad por las preguntas y el escrutinio del comité evaluador, y la expectativa de finalmente alcanzar un logro significativo📚.

A thesis defense is a culminating moment in academic life, an event that marks the transition from student to professional. It is a day that is anticipated with a mixture of emotions: the excitement of sharing the research work that has consumed so many hours, the anxiety about the questions and scrutiny of the evaluating committee, and the expectation of finally reaching a significant achievement📚.

Hello friends of Hive 👋💖 I want to share with you the experience of this special day and the culmination of a stage in my life. On this occasion I can finally say that I finished my studies as a university student, passing the thesis to obtain the degree of Bachelor in Management! 👩‍🎓

Estos últimos meses estuve rodeada de un monto de emociones diversas, desde angustia, estrés, alegría y enojo me consumían poco a poco antes de la llegada de este momento. La preparación para este día implica no solo un dominio del tema de investigación, sino también la habilidad para comunicar de manera efectiva los hallazgos y conclusiones. La presentación de la tesis es una oportunidad para demostrar la profundidad del conocimiento adquirido y la contribución original a la disciplina. Además, es un momento para reflexionar sobre el viaje personal y académico que ha llevado a este punto culminante.

These past few months I have been surrounded by a myriad of emotions, from anguish, stress, joy and anger that consumed me little by little before the arrival of this moment. Preparation for this day involves not only a mastery of the research topic, but also the ability to effectively communicate the findings and conclusions. The thesis presentation is an opportunity to demonstrate the depth of knowledge acquired and original contribution to the discipline. It is also a time to reflect on the personal and academic journey that has led to this culminating point.

A media que se iba acercándose la fecha, los nervios no me dejaban, toda la organización requería dedicarle su tiempo. Una de las cosas que más me alivio fue el apoyo de mi compañera con la cual estuve practicado durante dos semanas nuestra exposición, nos coordinamos por llamadas en discord y con anticipación hicimos nuestras diapositivas con ayuda de las indicaciones que nos envió nuestra tutora académica, a quien tengo que agradecer mucho por los conocimientos que nos brindó, sus exigencias también nos llevaron a estar bien preparadas para dicho evento.

As the date was approaching, my nerves would not let me, the whole organization required me to dedicate time to it. One of the things that relieved me the most was the support of my partner with whom I was practicing for two weeks our presentation, we coordinated by calls in discord and in advance we made our slides with the help of the indications that our academic tutor sent us, whom I have to thank a lot for the knowledge she gave us, her demands also led us to be well prepared for the event.

Los concejos que le podría dar a alguien que está también a punto de exponer es: dedícale tiempo a estudiar profundamente tu trabajo de investigación, hazle caso a las instrucciones y correcciones que te de tu tutor, la buena comunicación entre el alumno y el instructor es esencial para que la presentación y el trabajo salgan bien, además planifica todo con tiempo para que al llegar la fecha no estés todo apresurado. Mi compañera y yo anticipamos muchas cosas y esto nos dejó tiempo de sobra para prepararnos lo mejor posible.

 The advice I could give to someone who is also about to present is: dedicate time to study deeply your research work, pay attention to the instructions and corrections that your tutor gives you, good communication between the student and the instructor is essential for the presentation and the work to go well, also plan everything with time so that when the date arrives you are not all rushed. My partner and I anticipated many things and this left us plenty of time to prepare as well as possible.

La satisfacción de haber superado este desafío es una recompensa que perdura mucho más allá de la ceremonia de graduación, marcando el inicio de futuras exploraciones y descubrimientos en el campo elegido. La defensa de la tesis es, sin duda, un hito memorable y transformador en la carrera de cualquier académico. Por suerte todo salió mejor de lo que esperaba dejándome esto como un hermoso recuerdo.

The satisfaction of having overcome this challenge is a reward that lasts well beyond the graduation ceremony, marking the beginning of future explorations and discoveries in the chosen field. The thesis defense is undoubtedly a memorable and transformative milestone in the career of any academic. Luckily everything went better than I expected leaving me with this as a beautiful memory.

Agradezco mucho haber tenido a mi familia cerca apoyándome, amigos y mi pareja también se acercaron a la institución para acompañarme en todo momento. Un día que no podré olvidar jamás.
