Apple approved @threespeak's app

  • After a few back-and-forths, we managed to publish the 3Speak App Apple's App Store.
  • Download now.

What’s New in Release 1.2.1?

3Shorts Improvements

  • Faster loading of 3Shorts
  • List of CTT 3Shorts
  • Full screen for 3Shorts
  • Change the Orientation of 3Shorts
  • Screen stays awake when playing 3Shorts

Post a video

  • Change the template of the post
  • Change the dApp name of the post
  • Removed IPFS Hash from the post
  • ThreeSpeak / ThreeShorts - Community Selection issue fixed
  • Remove Unwanted footer - Posted using iOS App

Video Details Page

  • Screen stays awake when playing video
  • Full-screen button just below the player
  • Recommended videos can be played when you tap on it

Video List

  • Better visibility of the length of the video
  • Views of the video & posted some time ago are more visible
  • Faster thumbnail loading
  • Faster Video list loading
  • Better UI for videos list
  • Tappable video author thumbnail
  • Tappable video author-name

Side Menu

  • "Login" / "My Videos" menu item moved to the top
  • 3Shorts is now 2nd menu item
  • Both above menu item has special color highlight

Important News:

  • Starting from 15-Jun-2023, uploaded videos, after processing is complete, will be published automatically (only if you've given the posting authority to 3Speak)

I did have an issue though, once started a video there was no way to get back to the main menu. I had to pause the current video but when I tried to play another video the sound was layered. Now every time I open the app it is stuck on the first video I tried to play, looks like I will need to restart the whole app, but with the issues I mentioned above the app is unusable right now. Will try again later.

Just swipe from the left-edge of the screen for iOS & Android.
For Android, you also have system-wide-back button on the device.

That's the standard behaviour for all mobile apps (including youtube)
But point taken. I'll add back button.

It was impossible to find it in AppStore :( It was only when I typed "Sagar Rajeshkumar" that 3Speak came up. I gave 5 stars. Maybe more people should do it for visibility. BTW, good job! Finally I have video app for my iPhone.

It was recently approved by apple so apple is still indexing it's search results.

It was a very nice solution indeed! =) I actually prefer this way... but apple could make this idiocracy of app security a more useful thing... would help a lot of integrations.

Out Of the Loop; Does 3Speak do short-form content in portrait mode as well? I know a lot of people hate that content, but I like it.

Yes. It does. There are lot of portrait videos. CTT mainly publishes videos in portrait mode.

I do not have an ios device but luckily for me I do have an android device and you know what I just repaired my screen for it as well so am in good hands thanks to threespeak.
