My Hive Goals 2024 - The Kick-Off

A new year, new Hive goals!

Although I wasn't actively posting about my Hive goals in the recent period, I still kept grinding and building my stakes, just without seeing the exact growth. I have mostly building my Hive stake as well as HBD savings plus adding lots of pimp tokens whenever I could. Recently, I started to hand out tips more because I ran out of 3 pimp tips every day almost instantly when starting to comment on people's posts. This year will therefore also be about slowly building these tipping stakes to be able to hand out more tips to the people who's content I enjoy and those that engage on my posts.

Bi-weekly updates

As I want to start the year good by having a starting point on all my stakes, I took screenshots yesterday (January 1.) so I know exactly where I started and see the progress in the updates.
I don't plan on making it a weekly update, for now I decided to do a bi-weekly update and focus on half of the tokens in one update, while I focus on the other half of the tokens in the next update. This way I will have monthly updates on all tokens without having to take tons of screenshots every time.

Today marks the start of the year!

For this first post, I have taken screenshots of all the tokens I plan on building right now. Over time, some could be paused or removed, or others can be added but not before I reach a certain goal.

Hive Power

I'm starting the year with 6148.239 Hive Power, of which I currently have just 300 HP or so left to vote with but that's because I leased out a few hundred today while tomorrow my delegations will be returned. I plan on building this stake by creating content as well as leasing out HP, which I started with the last week. I will use it partially to buy other tokens and keep some Hive aside for Hive Power Up Day every month.

I would like to aim for 10k HP this year, but let's first get to the soft goal of 7500 before I decide my end goal for 2024.

HBD savings

You can read about my HBD savings reports every first day of the month (more or less) so I will keep it short here, the year started with 613.488 HBD in savings.

I will give it some more thoughts before I set a goal for this year because I know that in March I have to take out most for real life, and I will have to start over. I will keep adding most HBD in savings even though I don't have a goal set in stone yet.

Hive Engine Tokens

Now I will share the screenshot of the Hive engine tokens I'm building.

  • PIMP

This has become my favourite HE token by far! The Pimp community is great as well as how @enginewitty is managing all the stuff Pimp related, I have built my stake quite fast from 0 to 50k but then it got a more difficult grind because the price has gone up a lot since I started buying and I'm very thankful to build this stake also by handing out 3 tips a day, giving me the same amount of tokens in return, and of course the curation rewards add up!

My 2024 PIMP year starts with 70299.3468 PIMP, meaning I'm a little less than 30k pimp short to get to the 4th tipping level of 100k. It will be a little grind but a sweet reward as it doesn't only mean I get to hand out a 20 PIMP tip each day on top of the three I have now, it also means my stake grows with another 20 PIMP a day. Win Win!

  • ZING

Zing I started earning by delegating HP to @zingtoken. Last week I decided to change my approach as I started to lease out HP for Hive rewards. Now I will use these rewards to buy ZING and then add it to the liquidity pool. Currently, I've only been adding tiny bits to the pool but from tomorrow, I will start buying in the market to add to the pool a bit more at a time.

  • LEO

My first LEO goal is 1000 LEO staked. I will also join LPUD when I find out which day that is monthly. I will adjust my goal once the first one is reached as I don't know what's a good aim for this whole year.

  • LGN

I don't have a LGN goal but I'm delegating to @stickupcurator to get some LGN divs every day, which will pay out Hive divs every day.

  • CINE

A while ago I started buying CINE to delegate to my cine alt as I noticed my VP was draining to quick and I wasn't optimizing curation for CINE that way. I don't have a goal set but I think I will just keep doing what I do, adding bits here and there and then redelegate to the cine alt account.

  • TIPPING TOKENS

Now that I keep running out of tips, even with DHedge, BBH and LOH added to spread tips, I realized I can also tip Pizza so below you can find the current status of the tipping tokens I hold. There's no goal yet but my tactic will most likely be find out what the next tipping levels are to add another tip a day and focus on building them one by one rather than all at once. This seems most efficient.

That's all for today

I think I didn't forget any of the tokens I'm focussed on this year. In two weeks, I will write an update again about the status. This way I can see if I'm on track or not.

Dang, that's an impressive !PIMP stash! That was the first token I invested in when I joined Hive, much for the same reasons as you. I was lucky to buy a few k when the price was low, and I just recently hit 10k!

I'd love to get to 50k Pimp this year, but we will see. Funny enough, the main reason is because I'm also eyeing a 10khp goal haha!

Thank you, but the grind has become much harder now that the price is up as well as it's a double of stake from 50 to 100k. It will be worth it though, tipping another person every day helping them to grow the stake as well as adding bits to mine :)

I hope you will reach the 50k this year, it's quite fun handing out 10 PIMP tips :)

Great goals! I'm working on the PIMP too! I don't participate in the LOH, somehow not being female it just doesn't feel right...

Zing is a sound strategy I think, as well as LEO and LGN. I really should be buying more LGN.

I get it from LOH, it's a bit weird maybe. I always forget I also have LUV .. about ZING, I should have switched to this sooner but I'm not one to constantly keep track of everything when I do it more for the long term. So I missed a lot of earnings probably, but hey, at least I supported the account :)

Thanks for the PIMP! I haven't been doing as much ZING as I probably should have. The token has been on a downward drift so it makes me a little nervous about liquidity pools.

I personally believe the token is going down as it always happens when tokens are dropped to people for free. The high APRs couldn't last forever but from what I've read so far, I think it will be a success. I missed the splinterlands boat by selling all right before the boom (I had VERY expensive cards even 2 mystery cards which there were just 80, sigh) and I don't plan on missing out with this one :) lol #lessonlearned

Very true... Since it's still cheap now may be the time to get in. Assuming of course they can build a following like Splinterlands of course. That's too bad you missed out on the big money from Splinterlands, that sucks!

Haha the story of my early crypto life :) I could not believe this was going to boom. I should have listened to my boyfriend but then again, we needed the earnings in real life as we were still trying to keep our heads above water. Such is life, it's fine.. Our time will come!

I can't buy heavily in all sorts of things now due to the real life bill coming up but I can at least make a good effort in creating content and engagement so my earnings go up hopefully.

Nice goals, I haven't set any Hive goals for myself for this year. Just go with the flow and see where I will end. I have personal priorities and we'll see where Hive fits in the plans. But thank you for reminding me of dlease. Lol. I looked into that before and decided that I had to come back at a later time, and forgot about it. Now was the perfect time to check it again.

Anyway ... you go girl! !PIMP those earnings and get the goals!

Not bad to not have them, I haven't set them for all tokens as I want to go with the flow and see how things go as well. I will keep doing my best anyway :)

And yes, dlease I forgot about as well but I've been happy with the bits of hive every day :)
