Hive Silver Round 2023 - I Love It!

Finally, a Hive silver round for me!

For as long as I've been around, I've been in awe with the Steemit and Hive silver rounds but was never able to actually buy one. That is until @silversaver888 wrote a post recently where she said she was going to sell a Hive silver round designed by herself. I didn't doubt one minute and left a message that I'd like to reserve one but needed a bit of time to collect the HBD to pay for it. She was very kind and reserved one for me, I paid her as soon as I collected enough HBD, and not long after, it was time to pay for the shipping fee because the coins were ready to leave for their new owners.

Waiting

Then the waiting started, international packages can be a pain, and often Spain is not too fast processing them if it comes through the regular Correos in my experience. They really love taking their time.

About 1,5 weeks ago, the doorbell rang and it was the lady bringing the post. She had a signed letter for me which she needed to deliver to me personally. I was a bit disappointed that it was not just the coin but a letter to log in to the customs website to fill in documentation. When I read that I wondered how it would pass customs as it was paid with HBD.

I contacted @silversaver888 for advice as I didn't know what she filled in, so at least all data was corresponding and then I got stuck on the form where I needed to upload something. I already filled in all my data, it was just the last step where there was no upload button. I felt frustrated as it happened in other browsers too. I contacted their support and was forwarded to another department, who then left me a useless standard message where the upload button was. I just told them this button is nowhere to be found, and the email was a no-reply address, great!

I tried for several days, but nothing changed. A few days later, I logged in to check again and it said my package had been approved for delivery and handed over to the post office. YAY!

So happy!

You can imagine my relief as the letter said I had 5 days to provide the info (not even working days!) otherwise they may destroy the package, wtf. Destroying this piece of art, I'd be so mad.
But thankfully, nothing happened, and it was delivered to me yesterday. I didn't find the time to open it so I opened it today. WOW!

I really love it and I'm so happy I was in time to order one. The custom stress was all worth it!
