My X blue tick story and weekly progress report

This post is about my journey of getting my X blue tick and the weekly progress report of my twitter account.

X blue tick is a premium feature

Getting the blue tick was quite a prestigious thing back in the times of twitter . Now it is a paid feature.
When I moved to hive I became more active on web 3.0 and my X / twitter account took a back seat.
Though I had a decent following on twitter I went into a passive mode on X

The blue tick possibility made me curious

Ever since getting a blue tick became a possibility thanks to the paid option I was eager to explore the possibility of exploring the benefits of the bluetick

In September I got my blue tick

It was partly curiosity and partly fueled by the desire of being heard by a larger audience on X that I jumped on the blue tick paid bandwagon.

How I got X bluetick is a story in itself as I wanted to tweak and spruce up my profile before I applied for the prestigious blue tick.
Doing changes to your profile delays getting the blue tick as there is a mandatory cooling wait period if you make changes to your profile just before you apply for the blue tick.

Another issue that I faced with payments was that only a bank credit card is accepted as a mode of payment.
I do indulge in a lot of online payments and am well aware of the risks involved in entering my billing details and credit card number on any site.
Therefore I opt for a virtual card that my bank lets me create and this reduces my risk.
However, Stripe based credit card processing that X uses did not seem too happy with my choice of credit card being used for paying my X blue tick subscription and kept declining my payment.
Luckily I have more than one credit card so I tried another one and it got accepted after a few tries.

All this made me wonder what if paying with crypto was an option to settle the blue check mark subscription fee.

At the time of payment I had two options, one is to make a monthly payment and the other is to make a yearly subscription payment.

Since I am testing the waters of the coveted X blue tick mark I opted for the monthly payment plan.

Finally the blue tick mark arrived

Apparently X reviews your application as per its terms of service and then the blue tick mark appears against your profile.

Since I started my active blue tick journey in September I am using my August month stats as reference.

My account stats for the month of August

As per the stats for the month of August I see the numbers as
Your Tweets earned 703 impressions over this 31 day period
Quite meagre numbers and nothing much to write about.

It took me a while to get traction on X once again and slowly I began to gain momentum.

The numbers look interesting and better from August as my account has clocked 71.3K impressions in the last 7 days.
The last three days of the week have been the best for me.
Each day my account is getting 12K impressions every day.

This makes me wonder if I can get this kind of traffic to my inelo posts then how much revenue would I be earning as evergreen rewards?

I have been working on my X account on a daily basis and as a result these are the numbers that I see for the last 28 days.

I am glad that my hive rally long post has been getting some nice viewership.

Monetization is still far away

When I check the possibility to monetize my content I see I am below the mark so the option is turned off for me
