How LPUD caused me to change my Leo Goals?

Is it time to reset my Leo goals on this LPUD ?

LPUD gives me hope of winning

LPUD or the leo power up day is about celebrating the power of staking your leo tokens.
A day celebrated with great excitement by the leofinance.io community that is a layer 2 front end n the hive blockchain.

Leofinance community creates and consumes long form content focusing on
crypto, blockchain and financial content.
At the same time its micoro blogging front end is a free for all short form content platform.
I accumulate these leo tokens through out the month by way of purchases made incrementally.
It is to have as many leo as possible when it is LPUD that is the 15th of every month.

Winning the LPUD prize is a big attraction

If I or anyone were to win the LPUD prize it would mean a good hefty leo power delegation.
The delegation is for 3 weeks and the boosted power is given to you so that you can spread the leo love.

This becomes possible by way of the delegation received.
The delegation boosts your leo vote value and I as you vote and curate user content you the voter or curator and the author both benefit from this process.

The reward works on a 50-50 basis this means that if you give a $10 leo vote to a post then upon payout 50% of the vote value goes to the author and 50 % goes to the curator.

Lets do the maths

This 50- 50 split also indicates that in order to get more curation reward one would need to have higher value vote give outs.
This becomes possible if you have a lot of leo tokens of your own staked.

for this reason we in the leo community keep getting more and more leo tokens.
This boosts not only our leo power but also our leo vote value and curation rewards.

The other popular way of boosting your leo power is by way of receiving a big leo power delegation prize from one of the delegators.

What if I do not win the big delegation?

Time to look at my leo goals

At the end of the last year I had started planning to grow my leo power so for this year I had decided to set a target of 5000 Leo power.
5000 LP was distant but seemed doable.
Today I did a Power up of 660 Leo tokens and this has taken my leo power in the range of 4K Plus category.

Right now we are in the 5th month and my LP stands at around 4371 Leo power

I could do do another 629 Leo token more staked and I would be there.

So I am resetting my target to 7500 leo Power by the end of this year.

Would I be able to achieve it or not remains to be seen.
