I hope you all are well and enjoying quality time with your loved ones.

The man in the pictures is the caretaker of the orchard next to my father's orchard. He's from Nepal and has been living here since he was a child. Even though he's far from his family, he considers the orchard owners as his own family, especially calling the owner's mother his own mother.

तस्वीरों में दिख रहा आदमी मेरे पिता के बगीचे के बगल वाले बगीचे का देखभाल करने वाला है। वह नेपाल से है और बचपन से यहीं रह रहा है। भले ही वह अपने परिवार से दूर है, फिर भी वह बाग के मालिकों को अपने परिवार के समान मानता है, विशेषकर मालिक की माँ को अपनी माँ कहता है।

Unfortunately, the owners don't treat him well. They don't pay him enough, and he often comes to our place, usually drunk. When he's inebriated, he shares bits of his life – sometimes pretending to be on a call, talking to himself, or telling stories. It's clear that he's been through a lot, and you can see the pain in his eyes.

Despite the difficulties, he spends most of his time alone, taking care of the family's cows and his beloved dog, Panther. He came to India when he was very young, and the sad part is that he can't even remember his family anymore. His smile is remarkable, but it's affected by the damage done to his teeth from chewing tobacco.

He finds joy in dancing and is generally a fun person, but the trauma he's experienced is evident in his behavior and expressions. It's a tough life for him, yet he continues to care for the animals with love.

उसे नृत्य करने में आनंद मिलता है और आम तौर पर वह एक मज़ेदार व्यक्ति है, लेकिन उसने जो आघात अनुभव किया है वह उसके व्यवहार और अभिव्यक्ति में स्पष्ट है। यह उसके लिए कठिन जीवन है, फिर भी वह प्यार से जानवरों की देखभाल करना जारी रखता है।
