RE: My Darkest Nights

You describe your childhood experience in a way that makes it meaningful for us. The background you give, about your grandmother and grandfather, helps to set the stage for the drama that follows. You are essentially a guest in the home of the Okories, who seem to be lovely people. Still, when it came time to have the haunted spot in the house, that fell to you.

The haunting stopped after prayers were said. As you explain, this whole episode is still a mystery--for you and the Okaries. One is grateful that the haunting stopped, whatever caused it to stop.

Thank you for sharing this childhood experience with us, @marynn. This was a most interesting read.

Thank you for your comment @inkwell . It means a lot to me that you found my childhood experience intriguing. It was quite a scary experience being the one affected the most by the haunting in the house, but I'm grateful that our prayers brought an end to it. The mystery surrounding the whole experience still lingers, leaving me pondering what that incident meant but what whatever it was meant to mean, I'm glad it ended and we got our peace. Thank you for taking the time to read.
