I think the takeaway may be that farpetrad isn't a reliable source of release dates or the state of his code. Remember when Aggy and Weirdbeard were saying that it would be out in June? Where do you suppose they got the idea that it was ready from? There were some indicators that the 14th date wasn't set in stone... the support lead was refusing to post the announcement about that date in Discord, saying he didn't think it was reliable 🤷‍♂. Hopefully Matt learns a lesson from this delay.
