The Consequences of Living a Fake Life

We sometimes don't know the effects of living a fake life or what it causes. Today I will be sharing one that I want us all to learn from. On a very faithful day in some part of a state called Lagos, there were some friends who lived together, James, John and Jude. These three guys lived all of their lives on the street, but John likes to live a fake lifestyle so that he can raise his standards.

His friends warned him about this, but he wouldn't listen, so instead he continued on with this habit and even went to some extra length of bragging to people that he imports and exports goods from the foreign countries, and this made him happy because he was able to deceive people, forgetting that there is nothing that has a beginning without an ending.

One day, he called his friends and told them he had gotten a visa and was set to travel away from the country. His friends doubted him, but at some point they believed him because he gave them reasons to believe him. While he was on the call narrating all the stories to them, circumstances brought his friends close to where he was, and they were initially walking toward him.

Immediately, Jude sighted John from a distance and told James he saw John, but James doubted until they moved close to where John was standing by his tricycle, waiting for passengers to carry him. They shouted his name, but immediately John made a false look, acted as if he never knew them before, and walked away.

His friends were very surprised at how he lied to them after all that they had told him, but they burst into laughter at how John made his way away from the spot where he was met, leaving his tricycle at that spot. Leaving a fake life is never profitable, and it will never be. Just be you.
