A debit card is very important, as is our account. These two things are the things we have to protect from allowing people to have access to them, because if they do in any instance, it will cause havoc for us and may affect us. Just as some of us neglect that the debit card we have in our hand is very crucial. Most banks that share them with us have our details stored on this card, which is why we can use them with our account.
A debit card gives us full access to the money stored on it, just as it gives access to those who might want to steal from us. And debit cards often have fewer fees and better protections than credit cards. Credit cards have a limit because we are taking money from them to pay back within some time, but for debit cards, we are not paying back because we know that the money we have there belongs to us.
Theft is very easy to do with debit cards if we do not make them our priority. Imagine giving your cards to someone you don't know or trust and giving the person full access to your card. All you see next is a notification that your money has been withdrawn by an unknown person, which will make us unhappy. Every detail on the debit card must not be disclosed to anyone you don't know or trust because once it has been accessed, it will disclose your account details to everyone that has access to them.
Is it wonderful that the debit card exists? From my own point of view, I would say yes, because it has really helped me in different ways and also saved me from unwanted stress that I could have gone through. This card can be used in some ways, like making payments for orders, making payments for online transactions, carrying out business transactions, and many others.
We should always know how to safeguard our debit cards to avoid theft, and we should also make it a priority not to leave them in any way open for anyone to have full access to them. When we neglect these things, we will also be the ones to suffer and fall on the affected side, as care isn't taken properly. We should always take note of all the details we have on our debit cards and not allow them to leak to people, and we should always ensure that we have a way to get access to our card in case we misplace it so that we will be able to block it. More than your debit/credit card, you need to be careful with your sim. That is attached to your bank and other important documents. Also it would help to have different debit cards for different purpose to reduce your risk factor.
Yeah, you are correct about this.. But you know some can't be so careful in keep things like that. Having much cards might lead to misplacement and been stolen if not cared for properly.
