Rekindling the Flame: A Flarex Fire Monster Reborn in Sketches

Hi guys! It has been an amazing time in this great community, and today I decided to try something new. Okay, back then, in my college days, I was learning technical drawing, and then I loved the way my friends did some drawing jobs, and I started to learn from them by tracing out what they had drawn or tracing out images, and from there I began to know how to make sketches and draw a bit. Though not as good as I had hoped, I was able to do something of which I am always proud.

This morning, I thought to bring back my drawing skills by trying to draw the Flarex Fire Monster among the holos. Actually, I never believed what I was finally able to bring out of this because it's been a while, and I just wanted to try and see what I would be able to do.

I started by getting a plain white sheet to draw on and an HB pencil, which I mostly use to draw due to the clean result the lid gives when you make use of it. I started the drawing from the head, which gave me a bit of stress, and I had to clean for about a couple of times before I was able to come to a better sketch, and it was then looking better than before.

Now it's getting better after I traced the head and got a better shape of the head. Then I proceeded with the body by tracing it down to the leg. Drawing after a long while feels good, but it can also be stressful because it takes a lot of diligence.

The Final Resulting

Lo and behold, after the drawing, I was able to come to a meaningful result, which shows that my skill is still intact, and I just have to keep drawing for some time to get my skill back in full so that I will be able to share more great sketches later. As I have done this now, I hope this won't be the end because I want to continue to share my art work as I continue to learn and draw to get back to my drawing skills.
