From Despair to Dreams: Sparking Change in a Troubled Land.

What do you think about the current situation in Nigeria ? What do you feel will end the menace in this country, and how can it be tackled? I have been thinking so much about this, and I haven't been able to get a better answer to it. Since I have understood what it is to be a country, I have never once seen a time when Nigeria got a better look, but what I have always seen everyone do is cry out to the government for help. Even though they cry out to get help, they still find it hard to get it.

I have come to realize that most of the things happening in this country are caused by the selfish attitude of those governing the country, or, let me say, those in power. Most of these things are resources that are meant for millions of people, but with the selfish acts of the government, they tend to reduce them to just a few people. Even when just a person tries to do something good in the country, we have those that are called the kabas which would not allow the good of such a person to
come to manifestation

Scarcity and inflation have turned the economy upside down, and this is really affecting the economy so much that everything has not become so expensive, and for the fact that we humans live on these things that are expensive to get a better living and to have a better help, we have no choice but to ensure we strive to get these things we need.

I was at the market yesterday, and when I was discussing with the market seller, I had to compare the prices of groundnut oil and palm oil from two different sellers, and the prices were totally different, and the price difference was not just a little difference, but it was massive, and I had to ask the woman why her price was different from the others, and she said that the government caused it.

Well, I felt disappointed a bit, and I couldn't say anything again, and I said to myself that she is never at fault because if we compare the way people are in to the way people are spending, you will surely see there is a difference between these two. Do we earn too well for us to spend on things we really want anyway? I believe the answer is no, because most of these things are neglected. For instance, the minimum wage has not increased from where it was, and it is still the same range.

These things are affecting everyone and also the economy, and I really hope there will be a difference this year according to what the president addressed at the beginning of the year and the budget he has rolled out. I really hope this year will be a better year for everyone, and as we start this new year, always ensure that you think of how to be a better person and bring the good version of you out without waiting for anyone.
