Financial Frustrations: My Journey from Commercial Banking to Cryptocurrency Wallet.

The banking system in Nigeria is now getting to the point where people can no longer make money. That is the more reason many these days are now diverting their earnings from keeping in bank accounts to crypto wallets because it is safer, more convenient to use, and more, so you won't say you are facing any issue with it unlike the banking system of these days. The banking system is sometimes shattered due to network issues, which is sometimes a bad thing for the customers using the bank.

My experience today made me write this post. What happened? Initially, most people now avoid using commercial banks due to the exorbitant charges they charge, and this made them run to internet banking, which I also joined. One thing is that everything under this earth has its own barriers, but they are very minimal and there are levels to them.

I have been working on a project since last week, and I was expecting some funds to sponsor what I was doing because that is what will make the project run fast. I reached out to people for support, but I thought there was none. Last week, I noticed that I was created in my commercial bank app, but I was happy to get support from my friends. Instantly, I went to the ATM gallery, where I would be able to withdraw the money.

Getting there, I was told I had no funds in my account, but I was surprised because I saw the alert. What's going on? I kept asking myself this question because I don't know why I am unable to withdraw what I have. I was standing directly under the sun while I pondered what might have gone wrong. Immediately, I thought to complain in the nearest banking hall, and when they checked what the issue was, I was told they had blocked my account, and it has an embargo on it.

I felt very disappointed because I went to get some stuffs hoping that when I get money, I will pay but instead, I was embarrassed, and it was looking as if I came to beg for what I bought. I asked if there was any solution to the issue but the only solution they gave me was to go to the headquarters which is a bit far from where I live and not even considering the amount of money to be spent there.

Not only that, but I summoned courage and went last week, but it was void. Not only that, but I proceeded to the bank all day and still got the same story, which made me so upset, and I told them to give me every dime I have in the account that I want to close. Furthermore, I kept getting frustrated day by day because the customer service was very poor in responding to customer issues. This has made me lose so much money on transportation because the money in the account is very important.

No I have to get another means to get the money that conveyed me back home because I was hoping it would be resolved today, but it wasn't. It was rainy when I went, and I was soaked by the rain in the process of trying to get there, which will take me home. I feel so bad, like I haven't done this before, and I feel so embarrassed.
