[ENG/ESP]The Value of Mentorship and Guidance in Entrepreneurship for Students. //El valor de la tutoría y la orientación en el espíritu empresarial para los estudiantes.

It always amazes me when I see people that are readily available to help young ones to grow and without looking at any requirements or asking for anything in return for what ever they will do. This is part of the privileges we enjoy as a student sometimes, but it also depends on the kind of person we meet along the line. Why am I saying this, it happened that I was a chance to see some of our lecturers here in school, and they sometimes encourage us to go into entrepreneur, but I sometimes find it hard to do as a student.
I was in a discussion with some of my colleagues who told me our lecturer who has always wanted us to be well-developed, especially in the line of business creation. So I went to him on Wednesday after my class, but when I got there he was not on sit, so I had to get his number from some of his coworkers in the office to call him. After calling him, he told me where to meet him so we could discuss the type of enterprise I wanted to make, and I went immediately.
Trust me, as a student one can go into small scale of business' that can fetch you little if not more money in the later tine and that is why I decided to go seek more knowledge from those that know better than I do. Where I got there, I spoke to him and told him everything I wanted to do and also the budget I had to set up a small poultry farm business.
After narrating my story to him, he commended my effort to make things like this work, and he accepted to help me through the race of me setting up my small poultry farm business. I feel so happy I won't need to go from one place to another anymore because I have a strong source already, and he happens to be a doctor in this field.
He explained each breeds we have and the ones that can do in this weather and the amounts I will be buying each as a day old. He also said that he loves it when young people think about investments because that is what we can fall back to when there is nothing anymore. We then proceeded to check the chicks in the hatchery close by, and he was going to show me the breed I was buying and some other things I will be needing on the farm.
After we left there, he too me to a standard distribution and registered me with them so that they can sell things to me at a cheaper rate as one of his students and also to meet some sellers who will come to buy my farm produce even when they are not ready for sales yet. I was so much excited about the level at which he went because no one can go to this length when he or she is not related to you in any way.
After we were done moving around, I appreciated him for his efforts, and now we went back to make some payment for the chick in preparation for the poultry farm that would commence soon. One thing that is very certain in a business creation is that if you want to get successful on time, ensure you move close to those that have better experience than you do because they will be able to guide you and put you on the right path, and you will not go astray.

Siempre me asombra ver a personas que están dispuestas a ayudar a los más jóvenes a crecer sin exigirles nada a cambio. Esto forma parte de los privilegios de los que a veces disfrutamos como estudiantes, pero también depende del tipo de persona que nos encontremos por el camino. Por qué digo esto, es que tuve la oportunidad de ver a algunos de nuestros profesores aquí en la escuela, y a veces nos animan a emprender, pero a veces me resulta difícil hacerlo como estudiante.
Yo estaba en una discusión con algunos de mis compañeros que me dijeron que nuestro profesor que siempre ha querido que estemos bien desarrollados, especialmente en la línea de creación de empresas. Así que fui a verle el miércoles después de mi clase, pero cuando llegué no estaba sentado, así que tuve que conseguir su número de algunos de sus compañeros en la oficina para llamarle. Después de llamarle, me dijo dónde encontrarme con él para hablar del tipo de empresa que quería hacer, y fui inmediatamente.
Créanme, como estudiante uno puede dedicarse a negocios a pequeña escala que pueden reportarle poco o más dinero en el futuro, y por eso decidí buscar más conocimientos de los que saben más que yo. Cuando llegué allí, hablé con él y le conté todo lo que quería hacer y también el presupuesto que tenía para montar una pequeña granja avícola.
Después de contarle mi historia, elogió mi esfuerzo por hacer que las cosas funcionen y aceptó ayudarme durante la carrera para montar mi pequeña granja avícola. Me siento tan feliz que ya no tendré que ir de un sitio a otro porque ya tengo una fuente sólida, y resulta que es un doctor en este campo.
Me explicó cada una de las razas que tenemos y las que pueden hacer en este clima y las cantidades que voy a comprar cada uno como un día de edad. También dijo que le encanta que los jóvenes piensen en inversiones porque es a lo que podemos recurrir cuando ya no haya nada. Después pasamos a ver los pollitos de la incubadora que hay cerca y me iba a enseñar la raza que iba a comprar y algunas otras cosas que necesitaré en la granja.
Cuando salimos de allí, me llevó a un centro de distribución y me inscribió para que me vendieran productos más baratos como alumno suyo y también para que conociera a algunos vendedores que vendrían a comprarme productos de la granja aunque aún no estuvieran listos para la venta. Me emocionó mucho el nivel al que llegó, porque nadie puede llegar tan lejos si no tiene ningún parentesco contigo.
Cuando terminamos de movernos, le agradecí su esfuerzo y volvimos a hacer el pago del pollito para preparar la granja avícola que empezaría pronto. Una cosa que es muy cierta en la creación de una empresa es que si quieres tener éxito a tiempo, asegúrate de que te mueves cerca de aquellos que tienen mejor experiencia que tú porque podrán guiarte y ponerte en el buen camino, y no te desviarás.
