Back to the Grind: Embracing Pre-Grad Life After a Sweet Christmas Break.

It feels good to be back to school after a long Christmas holiday, which most of the students headed home to their parents to celebrate. In line with this celebration, the school management gave the students of my institution enough time to spend with their parents at home because they did not want to stress them with classes, despite the fact that the calendar has been rolled out, and we have resumed since last December.

The school has decided that the school activities will kick off by Monday, January 8 and some departments have resumed today because of the farm practice year, which they are doing as an industrial attachment. I was surprised yesterday when a friend called me and asked when I was resuming school for this semester, and I said I was going to resume today. He then told me he has resumed because his department started their farm practice year today, which will take a while before they finally stop.

With this, they won't be going to any classes this semester or the next, and the only classes they will go to are for some of the things shown to them on the farm that they don't understand, which will be taught in class, which won't last long. Today I finally returned to school to face pre-graduate life, and after this session, I am proceeding to my final year on campus.

It feels good to be a graduate because one will know that after graduating there will be no need for you to read and write again except for those who will be doing their master's and other associated degrees. But as for me, I haven't planned that yet because I want to finish my graduate education and then know what to do.

My department is resuming fully by Monday, which is the 8th of January, and many things have been put in place, like the grouping, which will make everyone know where they belong and where they will fit in. I know this is not going to be an easy task, but it's not a new thing, and I hope to survive this time with the help of God and graduate as a better student and get a better job afterward.
