LOH #140: My Perfect Saturday Be Like
Hello to all the Women Out There!
I'm delighted that I can participate in another contest this week that @ifarmgirl initiated.
It gives me great joy to respond to your question.
What would your perfect Saturday be like?
A Perfect Saturday for me serves as my private reset button.
What did I do on my ideal Saturday?
Over the weekend, I must reset myself to start fresh on Monday. This is how I restart every Saturday.
Clean Our House
Our house will become dirty throughout the week. Even if I clean our kitchen after every use, other things, like my bedding, are out of my reach. Even though I may not know it, my bedding accumulates sweat, skin cells, mud, food crumbs, cosmetics, and dust mites during the week. Therefore, it requires weekly washing.
I should also quickly clean your whole house on top of that. Our kitchen and bathrooms should, at the very least, be immaculate. I realize not everyone like doing chores, but if you keep up with your cleaning, it will take you only a short time to complete this each weekend.
When your home is clean, you'll be better able to fight off infections and illness, get a good night's sleep, and boost your productivity. That's because cleaning is a physical activity that can put you in a better mood.
Be prepared.
I spend some time getting organized after cleaning our house. Cleaning your house and managing it is the same thing. After all, tidying is organizing. — but just because your home is spotless doesn't imply there isn't clutter scattered everywhere.
For instance, I check my cabinets and refrigerator to ensure everything is in its proper place. Additionally, it allows me to check to see if I have all the ingredients you'll need for the week's worth of meals.
I also cleaned up my home office to start working immediately on Monday without being sidetracked by the accumulated mess.
I go outside frequently.
It's time to appreciate nature to reduce weight gain, boost my immune system, reduce stress and anxiety, focus more clearly, increase my short-term memory, and strengthen my immune system. I frequently stroll outside our home to breathe fresh air.
I try new things.
While visiting a different place every weekend sounds lovely, it's only sometimes realistic. But you can still try something new. It can involve checking something off your bucket list or trying a new eatery.
In addition to stepping outside of our comfort zones, new experiences expose us to different cultures, viewpoints, and individuals. As a result, we experience renewed energy and start to see things from fresh angles.
Use affirmations for good.
Giving myself words of encouragement can help me relax, feel better about myself, and change my perspective from negativity to positivity. This may sound too New Age. As a result, you'll be able to overcome any challenge over the week.
I look at my calendar and make a brand-new to-do list.
I look at my calendar and make a to-do list for the coming week every Saturday night. I will be well prepared because I will know exactly what to anticipate. It's a way to ensure I'm using my time effectively to have a productive week. I enjoy planning my week's tasks and reviewing my schedule and writing.
My Time To Relax!
All week, I've been on the move. So this weekend, I don't feel guilty about taking it easy. I deserve it.
Saturday nights are typically spent at home with my family. This allows me to read more and spend quality time with them. I occasionally watch a documentary or TV program. This quiet time helps me unwind and think back on the previous week.
Over the weekend, it's time to reset.
Now that I'm calm and clear, I can direct my attention and energy to the upcoming week. You should not just begin a new week by following these procedures to reset over the weekend.
This would be my perfect Saturday be like. How about you?
Look like an ordinary Saturday but what a fulfilling Saturday. you are really a workaholic person.
Yes, Ma'am, it is more important to me now to finish things and get ready for the next week. But of course it will be my pleasure too if I get the chance to travel on Saturday and have a vacation without paperworks of course :)
I'd take me all Saturday to clean my big house and I'd enjoy it being my big personal space after all. I'm happier having paid my mortgage in full. Then I won't have energy left to do much else.
Thanks for sharing, @teacherlynlyn
It's my pleasure to share with you what my perfect Saturday will be like ;) There is satisfaction in my heart and mind if I can be able to clean, especially my room and workplace :) Thank you for dropping by :)
When I was a child we always cleaned our home on Saturdays. I suppose as my parents were working so Saturday was a free day for that.
My perfect Saturday is when my students that come that day to my home for a lesson can't come so I have a while free day ;D Anything outside is perfect ;)
hehehhe It will be perfect if there is no paperwork and lessons on Saturday, right?
Thank you for reading dear :)
Starting the day with cleaning makes sense. It sets the mood so to speak. Going out to reconnect with nature or simply breath the outside air is great as well. Thank you for sharing how your weekend is like :)
