The benefit they have is they are not dependent upon making all their money on one service. For example, the streaming seeks to enhance the value of the Prime subscription, something with many more features.
This is much different than the traditional model whereby a business needs to make its money of the service alone.

Yeah, and that's smart. Once they have a lot of things that tie into the Prime subscription, then when they do increase the price, people are already hooked to take it.
