Millions Of Dollars In Ad Revenue: What Would That Look Like?

Today Apple became the first company in the world to close with a market capitalization of over $3 trillion. This is a breakthrough that will set the pace on to $4 trillion. I believe it was the first to top the $2 trillion mark back in 2020.

As for $LEO, it is lagging behind a bit. We are not quite at that level so there is work to do.

All kidding aside, we have to realize how much potential is out there. We are dealing with trillions of dollars in global market cap. Tokenization is going to add some serious impact. At the same time, it is possible we see it revolutionize the valuation models, sending things even higher.

From this perspective, we are now building a foundation that hopefully can benefit all involved. With Leo, we are seeing development that could really enhance the lives of thousands of people (to start).

Personally, I think too many suffer from a lack of vision and the inability to grasp potentiality. Does this mean that anything proposed is guaranteed? Of course not. However, we are perhaps witnessing something very powerful in the making.

In this article we will focus upon the ad revenue. To start, here is a thread that @khaleelkazi dropped.

Millions In Ad Revenue

We like to think in small numbers. Let's be honest, it is what our feeble minds can grasp. How many of us can wrap our heads around $10 million, let alone $250 million? For this reason, we stick to what is familiar with us.

Here we have a thread claiming there could potentially be millions in ad revenue. Of course, many will scoff at this. Again, nobody is saying this is going to happen only that it is a potentiality.

Now, what if, for example, we had ad revenue totally $15 million in a year? How would that change things regarding Leo? Do you think we would see massive price appreciation with that much buy demand?

The answer is yes.

Here is the kicker: do you realize that $15 million is nothing for an online platform? It is a joke. This is not putting Leo in the upper regions of online networks. In fact, it still doesn't register.

Page Views

This is something we discussed repeatedly. The reason we keep harping upon this is we are dealing with a very simple concept.

More page views equates to a larger amount of ad revenue. Hence, the job of the community is to have more page views.

How do thinks look and what will it equate to?

Here is the latest according to Simpleanalytics:

adrevenue.png

This started on June 8th, so we are about 75% of the way through the first month.

Why is this so important? As we will see, 500K in monthly page views is the first major level.

Notice the last category. We see that with 40 million page views, we are looking at a wide range of revenue. However, the upward bound is pushing $2 million per month.

Consider that.

We are going to see 500K page views the first month the analytics were back up. Here we have a general baseline for the site. Essentially, our task is simply to keep increasing this.

What is, however, a year from now, we are pushing the 40 million page views per month.

For reference, have you ever heard of teclast.com? I haven't. Did you know it does over 96 million page views per month according to Similarweb?

Therefore, the idea of a social media site with all kinds of different fetures built into it doing that is not unrealistic. The ad revenue would explode. Of course, this is only one segment of revenue generation.

We now have communities. The thread shows above was actually in relation to the idea of databases built within the different communities. Imagine a group putting together a datbase for travel or geography, with detailed information about different places.

All of this adds up. We have the opportunity to send the page views through the roof. This will cause an associated move in ad revenue.

Ultimately, this all have an impact upon the price of $LEO.

Do you want to see it skyrocket? Then get active on Leo.

What constitutes a "page view"? If I log into LEO is that 1? Then if I click on an article that's another one? If I reply to a thread, is that one? If I post a thread of my own, is that one? Just wondering how these are counted.

Yes all that is a page view. Clicking on anything and engaging on Leo is adding to the pageviews. There are no counters on long form yet but they are on threads. You can see how often a thread is clicked on.

In answering a thread, it is a page view if you click and open it. Have to open the URL.
