Leofinance Focus: Lifetime Pageviews Plus An Ad Revenue Idea

It is time to change up the thinking.

Leofinance is offering an opportunity that is unseen on Hive. This is something that could radically alter the way people create content. In fact, some are already altering their approach.

Let us look at a random song from YouTube.

Here is a screenshot of Bob Seger's Still the Same.

This song is a little over 3 years old and it has 4.5 million views. When it comes to music on YouTube, this is not heavily viewed. However, it does epitomize the potential we are dealing it.

What if we are able to get a small percentage of this on Leofinance?

Lifetime Pageviews

Consider the shift in thinking as compared to what we see now. How many pageviews can something get over a 5 year period of time?

If we use this song as an example, could we see a smidgeon of that on Leofinance? Maybe 4.5 million is out of line but is 4,500? Or 10K? Or 20K?

To illustrate, 100 pageviews in a month equates to 3,600 in a year, or 18,000 over 5 years. We are dealing with one song. Now expand this out over 200 songs posted on Leofinance.

This is the idea behind building Playlists on Hive. The Music Playlist community is designed provide a place whereby people can post their playlists in the threads section. It makes for easier finding.

Advanced Search

On the last AMA, we were told that part of the update of LeoInfra which would allow for word search on Leofinance.

This is huge and a great addition to the playlist concept. People will be able to search for individual songs or artists. The goal here is to have a library of thousands of songs under this concept.

We are effectively looking to make Leofinance a front end for people to use for their YouTube music. Now push this idea out to 20K songs over the course of the next couple years.

If people are in the habit of searching for information in this manner, the songs will get pageviews.

Lifetime Pageviews

Once the period is extended, all content has the ability to generate revenue. We are now dealing with a numbers game and the chance at a return is increased as we create more content.

Another way of looking at this is with the idea of total pageviews on your content.

How many pageviews have you generated? We obviously have no answer to this. Nevertheless, think about all the content you created, how much was it viewed? Did you reach 10K pageviews? 100K? Or 1 million?

Whatever the number, how are you going to increase it by a factor of 10? The easiest way is to create more content. After that, we should look at SEO along with the marketing of specific articles.

Ultimately, it is going to come down to the total activity that one is able to generate.

Reward Based Upon The Total

At this moment, we have no idea what the Ad Revenue program will look like. However, if it is based upon what Twitter is doing, this will be based upon the total pageviews an article or page generates.

This is one approach. There could be another approach which could be more beneficial.

How about the total pageviews generated on an individual's content over the course of a month?

This takes into account the total activity. Certainly, getting that evergreen content ranking and driving search engine traffic is crucial. That said, we also have to value the clicks generated on threads. If one post 100 threads in a day, with each generating 20 clicks, that is 2,000 just on that activity. That would have value to Leofinance.

Another example might be one who is sharing of articles in earnest. This person might post links to the articles on different social media. While each article might only get a handful clicks, if the person is doing 5 articles per day using 2 different social media platforms, that adds up over the course of a month.

If each generates 10 pageviews per article on each platform, we are looking at 100 in a day, or 3,000 per month.

There might be technical issues holding this idea back but it is something to consider. The goal is to get more activity at all levels.

Getting people thinking about lifetime pageviews in total occurring under one's account would instill the long-term mindset.
