Collapse In Confidence In Government
The 2020s will be marked by a collapse in confidence in government. This will extend into the 2030s.
For this reason, expect capital to move towards safety. It is why the calls for the collapse in the USD are absurd. International capital flows are not into ideology or any of that nonsense. Instead, it simply goes to where the safe haven resides.
We saw in 2020 what the world thinks. When the global economy was being shut down and markets were collapsing, the rush was to cash, specifically the U.S. dollar.
The collapse in government might be cheered by some but it is going to bring a host of problems. One of these is social unrest which is already starting. Another cycle that is emerging is war. This is obvious with regards to the situation between Ukraine and Russia.
Do not expect that to end with a whimper. In other words, it will get worse before it gets better.
Shift To Private Assets
We are going to see government debt fall out of favor. This is a process that started already, Bonds issued by the ECB are not desired by any of the non-European banks. New York will not touch it.
This is going to have an impact upon the equity markets. It also could be of benefit for cryptocurrency. The bond market is the largest in the world, with over $100 trillion around the word. A fair portion of this could be flushed into private markets.
It is also a case for the value of real estate holding up, especially in those countries not facing major demographic issues. Here is where anything to hedge is desireable.
We are going to get hit with something that few realize. Many talk about the banking crisis. That is nothing.
Instead, there is a tsunami brewing that can really wipe out a lot of value.
Sovereign Debt Crisis
It is likely that we see a sovereign debt crisis in many countries by the end of the decade. This will be brought on by a currency crisis, especially among developing economies. Again, since the value of the USD is going to be strong due to demand, it will make life more expensive for debts outside USD. In short, the econoimic impact will be fatal.
The first major casualty will likely be the EU. As stated, the debt is basically garbage already. When coupled with the obligations made, we can see how this is going to end. When the EU was formed, the debt was never cancelled, meaning that EU members were fighting it since the start.
Of course, they did this without their own currency which not only gave away sovereignty but made the debt even more expensive to service.
Anyone who lived through a crisis like this knows how bad it can be. It can turn second world nations into third world countries in a matter of a few years. Promises that were made by governments will not be kept. This will further the civil unrest as millions believed the obligations would be met.
Nothing we have seen over the past few years has led to a reversal in this path. It is only going to keep getting worse as they try to hold on.
This is a cycle we are in.

Sometimes I see some governments as the most organized crime syndicate in their particular countries. They eradicate outlaws and criminalize them because they are steep competitors and sometimes more creative and intelligent than the educated crooks in power. In as much as possible, people in power would perpetuate their status but the time now is changing. Hope to see this great shift. !PGM

They certainly do take on that form. The difference is organizes crime is breaking the law. Politicians simply write laws that make it legal for them to do what others end up in jail for.

Governments are the legitamate mafia. Nobody can stop them but humanity. Trust me, we can stop them. But cowards will only watch the lions defeat these governemnt and then try to take credit for it. Sheep do not get credit, they suffer.

I don;t trust any governemnt in this world. For me a loser governemnt is the winner for me. It should be illegal for anyone and any governemnt to print money. If it's counterfeit for me its counterfeit for everyone. No country should be able t counterfeit with a printer.
I think the USD is going to fall as petro dollar as soon as the BRICS currency starts. I have already heard that BRICS countries are alreadydoing trades in their countries witn their currency. So oil is being sold out of Russia and paid by the Russian Rouble, or if china is selling its oils its in Yuan. Of course they only selling to those countries involved with BRICS. The problem for USD will be onc e BRICS comes into play. The petro dollar is going to be no more for oil and other trades.
Now US has to get Putin killed and replace him with someone who will bend over for US all the time, even if means killing his own son. You know what they did with Gadafi and his Dinar currency he wanted to start with arab oil. He dead now, and a puppet was replaced him by america.
Don't get me wrong, I love america and americans and these Canadians and Canada. But I am starting to see these westernized countries are not for ppl like me. I just want to be left alone, do whatever it is to survive this world with my family and die peacefully. But governments and boot lickers won;t let us live peacefully, they want war with us.
If america don;t murder putin and replace him with an american boot licker, your USD is doomed. Biden has to do what they did to Gadafi.
