Affiliate Marketing and Crypto Currency

Today we take a look at what affiliate marketing and crypto currency means. Along with a few other words that come up when speaking of them.

In todays world of affiliate marketing there are more and more affiliates getting into crypto currency. However, they have no clue as to what it is they do or what crypto currency is.

Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing is simply when someone advertise a product, service, or opportunity to gain a commission. When you click links on many websites rather it's Ebay, Amazon, Walmart, or anything at all, in most cases someone somewhere is making a commission when you make your purchase. Some links even pay an affiliate just for you clicking their link.

Affiliate

An affiliate is a person who advertise other people products and services in exchange for a commission (a percentage of the cost of product or service) or fee.

Crypto Currency

There are thousands upon thousands crypto currencies out their. Crypto currency is a form of encrypted, digital money that uses sophisticated mathematics to regulate the creation. Crypto currency does not connect with any bank and uses the blockchain to transfer funds between entities.

Entities

Entities can be a well know company, an online company, or an individual who is self employed or have their own blog or website where they offer products and services and/or an affiliate marketer.

Blockchain

The Blockchain is a public ledger of all transactions ever executed. All of the transactions and data are stored in a distributed database. Each time the database is updated, all of updates are done together in a batch called a 'block'. Each time a new block is produced/added, it is appended on to all of the previous blocks - hence the name "blockchain". Taken from the Hive Blockchain.

And none of the crypto stuff existed back when we started our online journeys. Not the easiest thing to explain to anyone let alone a newcomer. You're doing awesome.😀
