His subsequent game will mark his 150th overall appearance for the team. In honour of our captain's most recent accomplishment, we've selected pictures from some of the most significant points in his Blues career.
The Chelsea fans inside the stadium were relieved to see Reece James enter the field to replace Cole Palmer from the bench during Saturday's 2-2 Premier League draw with Arsenal at Stamford Bridge. Our captain had returned from injury to play his first game since a home draw against Liverpool on the first day of the season. For our Academy alum, it was also a momentous occasion as he became the first player in the current Blues roster to play 100 Premier League games for the team. He has made 149 appearances for us in all competitions, so more could be on the way.
If he plays in our upcoming game on Saturday against Brentford, he will reach yet another milestone. Since James stepped up to join the Chelsea senior team for the beginning of the 2019–20 season, there have undoubtedly been some memorable moments.
