Hello again one and all,

Starting today with the drama in the first race at Wolverhampton yesterday. Eagle Eyed Tom ridden by Dane O'Neill apparently stumbled on leaving the stalls, and some reports state, clipping the heels of another runner, causing his jockey to be thrown from the saddle, apparently landing heavily. The race continued, whilst Dane was treated on the course, but was halted when it was clear that, given the position on the track where treatment was taking place, continuing would not be a safe thing to do. He was subsequently taken to hospital for further assesment and treatment. No new updates on his condition at the moment, but hope he has a speedy recovery, and is back in the saddle soon. The race itself was voided for betting purposes, and stakes returned.

A third of the month gone and now we are down to just 3 tipsters have failed to tip a winner so far.

Tipsters Standing

Rob Wright's finds a winner once again, and West Country finds a lose, although his pick did come second of a field of four, a long way off the pace however at the end.

Results

Mrs Trump seemed to run well early on, tracking the leaders following a decent jump from the gates. Stayed prominent, and began making heading from around 2f from home when urged on. Seemed to get squeezed and slightly bumped shortly after, and was one-paced and unable to make further in-roads inside the final furlong, ultimately finishing around four lengths behind the winner in fourth place.

Back-to-back course and distance wins in September and October of last year, before a 202 day break from the track. Returned in May this year with three places in his three outings, the latest of which was a second place over 2.25 miles at Pontefract 17 days ago. Up slightly in handicap ratings for this outing, which isn't viewed as reason to go against him.

Cheeky Extra Bet

Our selection yesterday, in the absence of one from Renegade Racing, was in the race that was so dramatically halted, as highlighted above so that bet was voided and the stake returned.

Today should mark the last day of testing for Renegade's subscription service, so hoping to finish with a bang. Based on results so far, I won't be taking on the full monthly service (priced at £20.00 per month). There hasn't been the consistency I feel needs to be apparent to justify the expenditure at this time. Obviously every tipster goes through downturns now and then, and I think I caught him on one such period. The team at Tipsters Empire obviously thought there was sufficient evidence to support him becoming one of their portfolio of regular tipsters - he did add over £300 to his starting bank whilst testing with them.

With that said today's advised bet is a 1.25pt Win at odds of 3.00, which i got on at odds of 2.875 on a 1pt win.
