Royal Ascot comes to a close today, with another 7 races on the card, and with 43 of our tipsters vieing for success. 15 of them have chosen the same race - 17:00 Wokingham Stakes (Heritage Handicap), this time around with 9 of those tipsters covering 3 of the 28 runners in the field - Orazio, Khanjar and Apollo One with 3 tips each.

Another 8 meetings make up the rest of the racing action today, all starting with the 13:15 at Ayr.

Lee Sobot nabbed us a winner yesterday and put us back in the black once again with a 6-1 shot.

With Lee Sobot grabbing his 11th winner of the month, he moves 2 clear with just 7 days left in the month. Will that be enough to keep him at the top? Time will tell.

Three times a winner over today's trip, including his last two under today's jockey William Buick - an obvious plus point, at Newmarket and Ascot earlier this year, returning to the track after a 102 day break. Faces up against former opponents Probe and Mr Wagyu who he beat in the first of those victories, both of whom are lower in the handicap against him for that encounter.

Cheeky Extra Bet

The testing continues on the back of an excellent return yesterday with both selections coming home winners.

Today's bet is a new market for me, and I think I've the right section at my bookies to match the advised bet - 15:40 Ascot - Highfield Princess to finish in the Top 3 (not e/w) - at odds of 2.25 for a stake of 1.25 betting points.

I've taken 1.5 bettings points as a stake (£0.15p at odds of 11/10 (or 2.10) for a potential to double my outlay. As ever fingers crossed.
